Without knowing this story, it'll be difficult to understand the context of this song.
Lakshmi fled heaven in rage because of Rishi's insult; he punched Vishnu's chest with his foot, where she lives. She traveled to Kolhapur and began living there, away from Vishnu.
Vishnu descended to earth in search of Lakshmi and reached the Eastern Ghats in pursuit of her, wandering through the hills without food or rest, injured and unconscious. When Lakshmi realized this, she hurriedly began her journey there for his rescue!
Lakshmi realized her immediate obligation and changed herself into a cowherd woman. This marvel loved by Brahma and Shiva. They realized Lakshmi's objective and transformed into a cow (Brahma) and a calf (Shiva) to help Lakshmi, to feed Vishnu with milk . Brahma's wish to visit Earth was thus accomplished. Rudra is evidently present in all the Vishnu's avataras, and he appeared here in the guise of a calf. Lakshmi smiled as she gazed at them. Goddess Lakshmi entered the kingdom of Chola Raja and pleaded with people to buy this pair. While offering
Translation: Varala beramaya > good bargain
This is a great deal, so hurry up and grab this cow and calf!
The gods have blessed them and sent them to earth to serve you.
If you buy these, gods will come to you and undoubtedly boost your fortune.
These two are as smart as celestial beings. But not like humans, they have pristine souls!
First, assess your ability, and then come forward to bargain.
You won't have another chance like this, so take advantage of it...
No one will evaluate these values.
Inform your King that these are God's blessings and
Waiting for his acceptance for a spiritual purpose.

Bare Necessities
Written by Terry Gilyson
Performed by Phil Harris (Baloo) and Bruce Reitherman (Mowgli)
Wherever I wander
Wherever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the tree
To make some honey just for me
Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
That's why a bear can rest at ease
With just the bare necessities of life
