I think the writers did a good job yesterday with Katha's apology. I don't see it as some instant realization, they had been chipping away slowly for the past couple of episodes at her stubbornness and irrational fear, and Viaan's accident hoax was that final push. Especially the conversation with Raghav that proved to be the biggest catalyst. The flashbacks of Viaan's previous accidents and her reactions to them were a nice touch to show how her pyaar started with parvaah and no matter whom she marries she won't be able to suppress that parvaah.

I remember saying that instead of mentally fortifying Aarav, she was allowing the doctor to be used as a crutch. Calling him everytime Aarav got angry, allowing him so much control over your kid wasn't sensible at all. I liked how they addressed this issue my making her acknowledge that she was making him a coward who runs away from problems in a foolish hope to protect him from all the hurt. Which is an impossible task in itself. There is no life without hurt or pain, grief, sadness or betrayal, and no parent can protect their children from them. Der se hi sahi they made her realize that.

If Aarav was her weakness, Viaan was her strength. It's as simple as that. She suffered so much because she cut off her only source of strength, her pillar of support. Uski zindagi mein agar kuch sahi hai to woh Viaan ka pyaar hi hai. It was a hard earned lesson, so hopefully she'll remember it always. Jab tak woh aur Viaan saath hain woh kisi bhi problem se lad sakte hain.

Another thing I liked about Katha's monologue- her coming out willingly to tell the truth herself to Aarav about that night when the time came. When I first heard it I was admittedly confused. Like what's the need? There's no way Aarav was going to know about it now. No Raghuvanshi was gonna tell him. Maya maasi is definitely out of his life. So what purpose does it serve?

But I think I get it now. I think by saying that, Katha showed that she was serious about her apology and finally ready to have a future with Viaan without any fear. She was embracing that night as something that happened between them, but it was only a small chapter and not their entire story. A massive change of stance for someone whose one condition for that night was that they would never discuss it. She didn't want that night to rule their lives or define them anymore. Both Viaan and her were more than that night and by telling Aarav the complete truth they would be taking away whatever power it still had over them. Like it's said- the truth shall set you free. Telling the truth to Aarav will set them all free and put the ghost of that night to rest once and for all.

Katha telling that she is going to tell Aarav about ONS came to me as a real shocker. I really didn't expect it to be coming from her!! But I feel by this statement of her's it has finally made her prepared to face the harsh situation if at all in future ONS is revealed to Aarav. It somewhere indicates Katha is not going to again choose the easiest path and run away from situations in the name of protecting Aarav.

@bold-This is exactly what Vanya said to Katha in one of the previous episode. The probability of Aarav knowing about ONS might not be totally ruled out and one cannot live with that constant fear also. So,telling him about it when time comes and when he is able to understand about the complexities sounds feasible and it might put a rest to fears in the lives of both Katha -Viaan.As there is more beyond to that ONS and honestly it was beautiful which Aarav also needs to understand... ...Viaan's repentance....Katha's forgiveness...their care and understanding each other and finally falling in love.

OG FL was awful. I don't know why audience like her at all. Sure she had some good qualities, but her bad ones mostly overpowered them. Not that the ML was some kind of saint like Viaan. He was a regressive douche too. But here katha atleast was a good mom, even if she somewhat failed at being a good partner to Viaan. OG FL couldn't even be a good mother.

Firstly there were a couple of times throughout the show when she simply packed her bags and left instead of talking with the hero. The worst incident was when the ONS secret had come out. That woman went to the ML's office, did tod phod, didn't tell him anything about what happened, didn't give him any chance to explain and just packed her bags and took her confused, upset kid away at night crying and hungry. She kept him away from his father, his sister and his family without explaining anything. Uprooted his life, took him away from his friends and secluded him from every person he knew growing up. Ignored his wishes, how he missed his father and his home and wanted to go back, and foisted a total stranger on him when it was clear that the kid didn't like that man. Funny how she wouldn't say yes to the ML in the beginning until he won over her son, but now didn't give two hoots about the same child's wishessmiley29

How, and most importantly why they want to bring shows like other channels, when many people prefer it for it for their niche content is beyond my comprehension. Don't understand what they are trying to achieve. I mean some shows on channela like Dangal or the likes have trps of 1 or more. Here even the reality shows are 0.6-0.7. And these are pretty popular reality shows too. They should try to understand where they're lacking instead of axing shows left, right and centre. Or simply stop worrying about the trps and let the shows run their course. Crime Patrol is 0.1 even after playing whole day on the channelsmiley29

Thing is that they have sony liv for their niche audience. With time, more and more niche audience are shifting to OTT platforms and cutting off cable/Dishes and replacing they with Jio or Airtel fibre who have multitude of OTT platforms available for streaming on TV and you get reliable internet connection as a benefit in the bundle. So, who is watching TV then?

But, one thing is true that they are failing either way for now. In future, anything can happen.
