Really ? I know nothing is confirmed for 2024 but I just assumed it would come in 2025 (Other than Akshay it seems alot of these actors are just wanna bring Big films every other year I guess to increase hype) Im basing that on half the actors having nothing next year lol

I think Animal is Ranbir's last big film. Unless he wants to go the Sanjay Dutt way. He's going to lose a lot of mainstream credibility. I don't think films like this help an actor's persona.
Also he's aging really badly. His skin texture is atrocious - this is an airbrushed picture btw, in real life his skin is much worse.
His looks have been changing over the past few years and it is only getting worse, i don't know why, some say its because of alcohol and smoking and some say its because he is trying to stop drinking and smoking. His bad skin seems to be a long term issue, even when he was younger he had acne. And his hairline is receding and his hair is getting thinner, it's pretty obvious that he does wear wigs.
In some events his team manage to make him look better, but in others he looks worse like in that picture.

Not to mention he acts like an idiot the other half of the time. Alia's wipe it off PR damage just got resolved.
He is smart and trying to pivot at the right time. He can no longer play the chocolate lover boy anymore with how he is aging. I believe Salmon pivoted in his 40's too and it worked so well for him.

The problem is his next film is Ramayana.

Look Maroon, Ranbir is slated to play Ram. That's his next film.
Will the audience be okay with an actor who just played a violent woman beater/rapist/whatever playing Ram right after? His fans project Ranbir as the incel image they seek, and Ram is the direct opposite of that.
Sai Pallavi, the Sita, will not have as many objections as what Ranbir will be as Ram. Again it's not like Ranbir LOOKS like Ram now....
I would think if their his fans they would watch his movie.Originally posted by: VimalPanMasala

There won't be any issues with Ranbir playing Lord Rama
He is an actor, he can play psychotic villains and Maryada Purshottam, that's his job.

In theory no, but bhakts will not like it. Religion is a HUGE topic in India.
I am going to skip Ramayana if Ranbir is playing Ram.
