No actually makers confirmed that it would return for a second season when it was on air. Their plan was to pair ML with new FL, removing OG FL. Somehow, FL survived and new FL was also introduced, showing the connection to ML. But audience rejected makers' idea. So they ended serial with ML and FL as the endgame. 2nd FL reunited them. It was during that time they released the news.

I think he was in Sirf Tum as villain but I didn’t watch itYikes I don’t think of them on any level when it comes to Sairat.
