I've seen W fans say Murtasim made TB a hit and ignore or downplay Merub's and Y's role in success of TB. But did they really say Y is nothing without W? If so, it has to be absolutely bonkers thing to say. Y was a star way before TB. Her 2 LSAs happened before TB even happened.
Meanwhile, I've seen Y fans claim Y made W's career. W's wife was trolled for saying W's success is the result of 8 years of hard work. Y fans repeatedly point to W's farewell TB post where he credited Y for success of Murtasim as proof of their case.
Both side fds are complicit. The moral grandstanding by either side is laughable.
I doubt it now. The daagh-e-nidamat story is sooooo effin regressive and third class that I don't see Fawad and even Ayeza ever accepting it (until of course Umera completely re-writes it). The story of the 1999 Umera novel by this name basically had the ML kidnap and rape FL because she slapped him in public. FL gets kicked out of home by evil bhabhis. She moves to a hostel. Phir she finds out she is pregnant so ML marries her. This premise of a rape victim marrying her rapist is not going to work in 2023 and again I don't see Fawad or Ayeza signing up for this crapazoola plot.

After the backlash TB got if something like this is made and top actors like fawad and ayeza signs up for it then they will be the dumbest people out there 
Of course Wahaj dramas with other established actors benefit from their FDs. Who denies it. Yeh konse idiot fans hai jo yeh kehte hain. On the other hand 22 qadam did benefit from W's fame i feel. Lots of people I know checked it out because W was in it.
We need to take a page from bollywood box office. Stardom sirf aapko acchi opening deta hai. After that first 3 days, box office is determined by word of mouth. Same with ptv. Star presence will make people check out first episode. Magar views of later episodes will only be high if people like the show. Mein is case in point. Ayeza and Wahaj ki stardom got Mein ki E1 24m views on YT. But episodes these days barely get 7-8 m views.
