For anybody still reeling from the World Cup final defeat, here's a glimpse of new India that could probably lighten up the mood. These boys are aggressive, they boys are unafraid and the IPL has made them revel the big stage. India were troubled by Travis Head in that WC final, and in response they have unleashed a triple threat of left handed batters in Jaiswal, Ishan Kishan and Rinku Singh to give the Australia bowlers a few sleepless nights. It was supposed to be a slowish surface, but the way Jaiswal started made everyone feel the pitch report today was just a farce. Jaiswal punished the bad balls and showed some deft touches as well, as India notched up 77 runs in the powerplay. Once he fell, Ishan Kishan picked up the baton and attacked the newbie Tanveer Sangha, just like the previous game. A quickfire fifty for the keeper batter, before he holed out to sweeper cover. SKY entertained with a few of his trademark shots, before Rinku added the finishing touches with his unabashed hitting. All along, Ruturaj held the other end up, playing the perfect anchor. For Australia, a day to forget for Maxwell and Abbott who had economy rates north of 18 today.
