I must admit I watched Ghum 1 only after the entry of Aria as Lil Savi. What I saw of her parents was such a put off I did not feel anything for them. I loved Lil Savis antics in Kankauvli, her bond with different characters and the way they had crafted her role and the way she delivered it.

Since ghum 2 is the story of Savi I like the way she is fighting every battle of hers and standing up for what is right.

I did find the enactment a bit weird . A professor stepping in for a student is not done.....but I guess an original theme for a competition is better than gyrating to a movie number. It portrays the struggle Sayi went through to fulfil her Aabaa's we dream. The struggle her daughter will face to reach her goal is what they are trying to establish.

The peace Lily seems to be answering Savis prayer. Ishaan has not only calmed down the scowl is making way for other expressions and Shakthi is bringing it out well.

They are not a couple yet. Comparing them to the season 1 leads seems unfair. Neil could not bring out nuanced expressions. The ensemble cast of season 2 seems good.

I didn't enjoy the performance either. It made me go back to my favourite couple; SaiRat. They maybe toxic, always fighting, getting seperated and reconciling but they had an amazing chemistry. Noone could have played Virat better than him. He bought life to Virat. Same could be said about Ayesha but she faltered in the emotional scenes.

I totally agree with the last part. How on earth did Ishaan know SaiRat story? This didn't seem logical to me too.

Off course " Sairat" were toxic so do most couple on ITV are toxic in a way or other!

That element of toxicity attract attention .

Neil made Virat character bearable and memorable , he did justice to Virat , Aysha also did a gold job as Sai Joshi ! What ever they did they created an amazing chemistry...

Today professor stepping in to student's shoe is not done ! That will jeopardise the entire competition that is set for the students

It is a kind of disqualification , right now Ishan and Savi lacks chemistry but later it can change

Ishan knowing about " Sairat " was kind of weired, at this point point every in Ghum2 look weired

A family of educationists who can't stand women in this era " career oriented "

A professor who is either being judgemental or over interfering to his student's ( that too a woman) life

A man who never had any guts to stand with the wife , at the late stage wants to be her support system,

A college where there always nothing celebrations going on

Damn!! Respect for murga kauwa yaar. They kept the legacy and respect for leads intact unlike another show whose makers ruined the male lead as they got salty just because the actor refused to take back his resignation.

Every time I see Shuklaji I somehow get reminded of Usha Mausi.

I guess it's the naivity of the characters and saying the most unexpected stuff which reminds me of her.
