Hirani's first flop loading. Trying to pass off SRK as a youth, even with all the technology in play, is a clear Fail. The film is way out of Hiranis urban comfort zone & the subject(illegal immigration) seems very "Niche" to have a universal appeal. Thanda Teaser & Thanda Song. Hopefully I'm wrong & Hirani can work his magic but so far the film just doesn't have the usual Hirani appeal.

It is a Hirani film.No one would like to take a bet against him.The film will earn and earn..and trend like crazy.

We missed that " bekaraar Kar ke hamein" moment so far in the promos though. Where it was clear that jawan will open bigger than Pathaan. But a Hirani film is a different animal.

The film will deliver.

Injustice was done to Taapsee though.She has looked great in all her films so far.Hirani doesn't seem to like her.

Imagine the song with Alia,and Kjo was directing it.She would have not been dragging the hero the whole time.Snippets of her with the hero,in flattering lighting would be shown several times during the song.She would have been shown as worthy of all the love and attraction.Taapsee looks like she is ill.or on some meds.

Trolls can say what they want..other film makers who are watching, is what matters. Pathaan's promotions started with Besharam Dil..a female solo song(it delivered).In Jawan too..extreme care was taken to present Deepika(it is another thing that Atlee went to every media channel and promoted her).An actor needs support of the director.

I don't see any here.
