Exactly. Usne clearly bola “dhokha” and “Dhoke ki nishani”. I think humne hi galat assume kar liya ki woh legitimate hai.

Aaj even Vidya said ki kya tumhe kisine chhote bade ne “tujhe ek pal ke liye bhi PARAYA Mehsus karaya.”


Okay I watched the whole scene again: Armaan is either illegitimate or born out of wedlock. Apna assumption tha ki his parents were married. It got clear today.

The dialogues are indeed confusing. From yesterday's episode, it was implied Madhav married Armaan's mom defying Hitler Dadi, but she didn't accept the marriage. She tried many things , finally did some hitlergiri and forcefully married off Madhav to Vidya ( who was probably kept in the dark about his marriage). That evil Uncle was smirking throughout, so he has some hand in this whole thing.

Later, Armaan's mom died giving birth to him and Madhav probably brought the kid to this family & they had to accept him. But Dadi still hates him like he's an illegitimate which doesn't make sense at all.

I feel Armaan is given a very wrong picture of what happened. He seems to believe his mom was in the wrong and is emotionally distant with his dad. He's told a version that paints his mom as a vamp, which I don't think is the case. Honestly, I won't be surprised if Dadi & that uncle killed his mom. If that's the case, this family is 10 times worse than Chavans. Kya criminal sasuraal milne wala hai Abhira ko!

Indeed, it appears to be either sloppy writing or Armaan isn't aware of the full picture. If it's due to sloppy writing, it seems the writers themselves are confused and uncertain about how to depict Armaan's origin story, almost as if their sole aim is to mimic "ghum" but they're unsure how to craft Armaan's narrative. I suspect there's more to this than what's initially evident, and Armaan's mother's story might unfold later when Abhira enters the picture. i am damn sure this phuphasa is involved in many mishaps and maybe who knows Armaan's mother might be still alive also and this is one of his dirty tricks.

The story about the Armaan is a bit puzzling right now. In the last episode, his (dadi) revealed that Armaan's mom trapped Madhav and got him married. Dadi tried everything to separate Madhav from Armaan's mom. She hurriedly arranged Madhav's marriage to Vidya, hoping that Armaan's mom would leave Madhav alone. But, Armaan's mom didn't back off even after Madhav married Vidya. I think that's why Armaan told Vidya that he's illegitimate and Vidya is loving her husband illegitimate son like her own, because Dadi informed or paint a picture Armaan that despite Madhav marrying Vidya, Armaan's mom still maintains a relationship with Madhav. And maybe Vidya don't know about Madhav first wife before marrying him because vidya and madhav relationship also not looking good like they have issues.

So Armaan is actually the legitimate son of maadhav and Poddar family’s legal heir.. but just because his mother was poor and Dragon dadi didn’t like her, Armaan is treated as the illegitimate son and dadisa is making him feel that Poddar family has done a great obligation by accepting him 🙄
