Tiger 3 Records Fair Collections On Day Six

Tiger 3 collected 13 crore nett on Friday which was day six for the film. This collections would have been very good if this was the second Friday and day eight but its come on day six due to the the Sunday release. The film held well at the bigger multiplexes and there was no support of higher ticket rates as the film has same rates till Sunday.

The film showed bigger drops in mass pockets as it slowly comes out of Diwali period and it is almost out with maybe Gujarat and UP showing being a little higher than should be but now the film is showing pretty normal ratios.

The total collections of the film so far is 191 crore nett so far and it should be around 209-210 crore nett week for the film. The growth on Saturday could be a little less as those final centres come out of Diwali, the flipside is that there is a match on Sunday so some of the Sunday audience will watch on Saturday which makes it normal growth. It remains to be seen how it plays out.

The film is looking to emerge a HIT though will not meet the expectations of the industrry which was a blockbuster success. The Friday number actually should have ensured a HIT status for the film but its an unknown how big the loss will be on Sunday. It should have been looking at a 230 crore nett total by Sunday night but that will not happen due to the match. The collections of Tiger 3 till date are as follows.

Sunday - 42,25,00,000 apprx

Monday - 57,00,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 42,50,00,000 apprx

Wednesday 19,75,00,000 apprx

Thursday - 16,75,00,000 apprx

Friday - 13,00,00,000 apprx

Total - 1,91,25,00,000 apprx

The snacks are overpriced and poor quality. I got a fizz free coke plus crunch free popcorn for about 600 bucks last year when I went to watch a movie in India.🥴

Tickets prices are way too much in India at multiplexes. For recliner seat price is more than 1k in multiplexes for prime time shows. Add snacks etc if you gonna have it. Then parking charges don't forget that. So easily 4-4500 for two ppl, that's way too much. If no recliner then just reduce 1k from above amt. Still too much.

Hence you need to wait for prices to be reduced or go for odd timing shows as prices are less that time or single screens.

ETT wasn't a patriotic movie either. It was about a rogue Raw agent eloping with an ISI agent, but people accepted it. Times were different. Today, you can't make such movies. It's like Hollywood making a movie sympathizing with America's enemies. It simply won't work.

Perception matters a whole lot. Since Salman's golden run ended with D3, he hasn't had a single commercial Hit. SRK fan-boy Harminder (of BOI) will declare this movie as Semi-Hit if it holds or Average if it doesn't. That is indeed embarrassing for Salman and Bollywood's biggest trilogy.

I just don't see how Salman returns to his 2010-19 form from this. He's heading the Dharmendra/Bachchan way.
