I also have the same doubt but looks like people just want the movies to reach 500 in the first week itself just because it’s a Salman Khan movie.

As a fan, you'll be optimistic. That's fine. But there's no way Tiger 3 touches 400 crores. It's not trending at those levels at all.

ETT wasn't a patriotic movie either. It was about a rogue Raw agent eloping with an ISI agent, but people accepted it. Times were different. Today, you can't make such movies. It's like Hollywood making a movie sympathizing with America's enemies. It simply won't work.

Perception matters a whole lot. Since Salman's golden run ended with D3, he hasn't had a single commercial Hit. SRK fan-boy Harminder (of BOI) will declare this movie as Semi-Hit if it holds or Average if it doesn't. That is indeed embarrassing for Salman and Bollywood's biggest trilogy.

I just don't see how Salman returns to his 2010-19 form from this. He's heading the Dharmendra/Bachchan way.

Why this negative thoughts already this early? It sounds as if you don't want to give the movie a chance...

I prefer to see what the movie already achieved.

They go by media and the main trade. Even neutral public just hear movie as made good numbers and WOM. Again u have ur view I have mine. Srk came back sunny came back amir probably will and Salman to me with this movie as already come back because the neutral audience is giving the thumbs up on the movie overall with their ratings and reviews.
