Tiger 3 Day Four Early Estimates

Tiger 3 has collected around 19.50-20 crore nett on day four which is a drop of 50% plus. The film was going to drop on anyway but the drop was exaggerated by the world cup Cricket semi final between India and New Zealand. It is impossible to tell how much the match affected the film and how much was the natural drop in the film.

The film continued to do very good business in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Ci and Gujarat but the numbers would have been much higher without the match and some centres in these areas would have been pretty similar to Tuesday but that was not to be.

The drops were far more higher in the bigger metros which were going to drop 35-40% anyway without the match. This takes the total of the film to around 161-162 crore nett and now its about holding on to collections post the cricket match. The film has done well enough till date and now its about holding collections into the weekend which will be hit again by the cricket.

The collections in Nizam / Andhra held very well on Wednesday and there was a minimal drop though this circuit has seen big drops post the first day.

WOM doesn’t come into play in first 2-3 days and Salman’s job was to ensure collections during the opening weekend. Remember even Race 3 had a 100 cr weekend but here Day 2/3 collections were certainly below expectations.

Actyally, Tiger 3 was ready by 2022 only. YRF wanted to bring in Pathaan and then get tiger coz of the spy universe.

They delayed Tiger 3 for Pathaan.
