This is precedent that now all films will be compared to a 1000cr performance and if fails is a failure, the definition of success at the BO has redefined. This is even what Anmol pointed out does that mean we will deem all ventures failures if it doesn't hit the mark

To add this is underperforming considering it to be Salma though gotta say.Maybe its just the fatigue to action movies for the year.

I am disappointed i was rooting for 70cr plus on 2nd day!!! I really dont know how the figures came below 60cr. Is the diwali trending differently this year. We have to wait till wedns to get where the film is heading. Wedns Big Semi final Match, will get madly affected.

It's a good collection.

We have to take into account that SRK is literally top 1 to 5 right now in box office pull so let's not compare to the numbers he pulled with Pathaan and Jawaan.

Tiger 3 Has Huge Second Day

Tiger 3 had a huge second day as the film collected around 57 crore nett taking its two day total to 99 crore nett. The growth was extraordinay in circuts which were affected by Diwali Puja with some circuits doubling up while other were even more.

The growth was less in areas which scored on he first day with some circuits evn dropping especially Nizam / Andhra and West Nengal. Also single screens in muslim centres could not grow as well as they were huge on day one. The fact that the film opened on Sunday really pushed the collections in Muslim centres and that is why the Sunday came out with a huge number for Laxmi Puja.

Diwali holiday is over two days this year so the film will get an extra holiday, if this was not there then collections on Monday could have been 65-70 crore nett but still over the two day period it will get far more than 70 crore nett. The collections of the film in two days have hit 99 crore nett and it is still a good period till Sunday but there could be two huge cricket matches which will hit business. One match is certain and there is a good chance of a second one on that one will be on Sunday. The collections of Tiger 3 till date are as follows.
