An overall brilliant show from Afghanistan has choked Netherlands and hence, they have ended up with a below-par score. Mujeeb trapped Barresi in front in the first over itself. But, ODowd and Ackermann batted with a positive mindset and kept the scoreboard ticking with a 50-run stand, steadying the ship for Netherlands. When things were looking bright for them, a dramatic shift happened – the Dutch lost 5/40 and the runs dried up as well. Three dismissals during this period came in the form of run-outs while the other two dismissals were caught behind, pushing Netherlands into a precarious situation. The Asian side had the chance to shut the game down there itself but Engelbrecht was dropped twice off successive deliveries. Mind you, those were tough chances though but thankfully for Afghanistan, they didn’t cost them much. Engelbrecht fought hard and went past his fifty but another error in judgement led to his downfall – the fourth run-out of the innings. The tailenders couldn't do much and Netherlands were skittled out for 179. All the four spinners for Afghanistan were brilliant, especially Nabi and Noor, who took five wickets between them. The Asian side are favourites to notch up another win but can the Dutch put pressure on them with wickets upfront? Back for the chase in 40 minutes...

STAT: This was the 12th instance of four or more run-outs in an innings in World Cups, the last two instances too, featuring Netherlands - vs Bangladesh in Chattogram and vs Ireland in Kolkata - both in 2011. Australia has been on the receiving end of this record four times in World Cups, the most.

Mohammad Nabi: First 10 overs weren't good, line and length wasn't good, that's why we bowled badly. Rashid came back and we discussed - 10 overs gone, let's focus on the next 40 overs and bowl in the right areas, they'll make mistakes. Same thing we did. When the pressure is on the batsmen, they'll make mistakes and make bad calls. We took those opportunities and got 4 run-outs. I got good experience in 154 matches, I use that experience in every single game with the youngsters. It's a good batting pitch, hopefully we chase it easily.
