Honestly, I just put my views. I know VJ is a good actor and I honestly feel bad . He is getting repetitive roles despite his versatility. I loved his character in starting and genuinely saw Og Riddiman... But sadly I don't feel anymore.

Actors are at the lower rung, their job is to act, anything else is additional. Storytelling is cvs job, now they need a major overhaul across ph houses.

Majority of the good writers shifted to ott. Ultimately they want to tell a finite story and have more control over fate of characters.

I truly don't see cable TV surviving ott onslaught in the long run.

Theres still relevance of cable tv . Roz 1 hour mein 2-3 tv show dekhne ka apna Maza hai. Its not a lot of time and habituation seh they can make sure people continue to watch. Its powerful to tap into that habit forming aspect. But the content in the "drama" genre is just not good enough. Especially the primetime channel- starplus and zee. Sony tries hard but its very hit or miss.

Actors may be lowest rung but everyone in the team has a role to address audience feedback and let the bosses know that neither them nor audience is liking cringe. Ya thet nay not always act on it but at least they should speak up. Its tough though because theres lot of interpersonal equations, job security etc involved.

After watching balh3 i realized that even finite shows can be trashy.

Ohh of course they can be. So many finite books and ott shows are trashy. But when the goal is to stretch till you can't anymore due to ratings, the outcome is inevitably trashy.

I'll be happy if they drag Romi track even more because I'd rather see this instead of Seergad, Manrat cringe. Overall i have been enjoying watching episodes recently much more than earlier where i FFded so much!
