This looks exactly like the fanfiction some writes on a daily basis somewhere else. Is HC a teenager who was sad that his onscreen character's love story was not going anywhere? Because other than that, I don't see what the issue was. First and foremost, he was getting a handsome fee. There were article after article boasting about how high paid he was. His character had so much ss. If the PH was biased towards Abhinav, they could have easily written off Abhimanyu's character after Kasauli leap. I'm sure the target audience could care less. Instead he was given all the importance, and HC & PR were everywhere. So nope, I don't believe this 'HC was being tortured by evil Dkp' narrative at all. In fact, it was the obsession with AbhiRa that ultimately ruined the show to such a point.
