Aiden Markram: We will bat first. Trying to approach in a similar way to the English game. It's really hot. It took a toll on everyone, it's advantage fielding in the evening. It proves that anyone can beat anyone. We took lesson from that Netherlands game, it's a new day today. We need to try and repeat the same thing. Ngidi misses out, Lizaad comes in.

Shakib Al Hasan: Fully fit. Hridoy is not playing, I come in the team for him. Today is an important game, we have to play our best cricket to win against SA. I don't mind bowling first. If we restrict them to a respectable total, we can chase it down.

South Africa vs Bangladesh, 23rd Match

Probable Best Performers Probable Best Batter: Heinrich Klaasen (South Africa) Dynamic South African batter Heinrich Klaasen, who recently delivered a remarkable century against England, considered it one of his career’s finest innings despite the draining Mumbai heat. With the upcoming match against Bangladesh at the same venue, Klaasen faces another test of enduring the scorching conditions. Nevertheless, he is in excellent form and aims to maintain his performance.

Probable Best Bowler: Kagiso Rabada (South Africa) Kagiso Rabada remains a persistent threat, unfazed by the conditions. Although he hasn’t delivered explosive performances in the World Cup so far, his consistent efforts have raised significant challenges for opponents. His crucial 3/33 against Australia played a pivotal role in restricting the five-time champions to just 177 runs, making Rabada a formidable force in the tournament.

Today’s Match Prediction: South Africa to win the match

Right then, the players are out in the middle. Both the openers follow the Bangladeshi bowlers.

Right then, Anjum Chopra brings out the World Cup Trophy as we get ready for the national anthems. The aerial view shows the massive flags of both the teams spread on the ground as the players stride out in the middle along with the mascots. "Amar Sonar Bangla" first, and we'll have South Africa's "Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika" next..
