I understand what you are saying but it is what it is and I bet an artist will still choose to work given an opportunity that they find lucrative.

I'm not saying all pakistani artists would choose not to work in india if given the opportunity, ofcourse they will benefit from it, but they will also get alot of hate and trolling, and this may make pakistani artists think twice if given an opportunity, imagine if they started working and another ban is put in place. Mahira couldn't even promote raees because of the ban, sajal ali and adnan siddiqui couldn't promote Mom with sridevi, I can imagine that being very upsetting for them. Fawad couldn't promote ADHM, sabar Qamar couldn't promote hindi medium. As much as working in india benefits them, it is also heartbreaking and very upsetting for them to be told they are not wanted there anymore. I can only imagine how they felt watching their movie being promoted without them.

I watched Humsafar and loved it.

I haven't watched Indian TV shows in years except Mahabharat.

Humsafar had a standard romance plot, but it was still much better than most Bollywood movies.

Don't put words in my mouth.....you said that Indian actors are also trolled...and I said that they are not trolled for their nationality......the rest agreed.

Arre what words did I put in your mouth.

Also please don’t compare NRIs with the Pakistanis and Indians wanting to work in each other’s countries, its apples and oranges. At the peak of Cold War, do you have any idea how the Americans have treated the Russians? When URI happened, people’s emotions were flared up and the producers’ guild were forced to take this action. We should be glad that the they are making attempts to revert it.

Just recently when India continued to buy gasoline from Russia not honoring the restrictions laid on them by the West, I hope you have seen the trolling happened to the NRIs and asking Indians to be deported to India to teach India. Germany refused Visas to the Indian men because they thought every Indian man is a rapist. I mean why do you expect it to be any different for the Pakistanis in a foreign land?

I was also thinking, would pakistani artists even want to work in india again after how they were kicked out of the industry, and even if they did start working in india again I can imagine the level of hate and trolling they would get from some people. Plus would Indian producers and directors even hire pakistani artists because of the fear of negativity, the public reaction and social media trolling is at an all time high in sensitivity.
