She has no movies ( one movie coming our, it might change things around) cz of natural slump, happens to many actresses around this age, or cz her movies didn't do well, her range being limited and all... But fans cannot accept it

She might still make a comeback... Don't think she's the type who accepts it and gives up

I just noticed while watching the Neeyat trailer that she's been working with the same people for a while now. Jalsa, Shakuntala Devi, and Neeyat, all from the same folks? Maybe she should mix it up and work with some new filmmakers.

If that's the case she wouldn't be working in this biz at all, at least not in lead roles

No she said when she meet people the first thing they mention is oh wow you lost weight or oh wow you gained weight. No one cares about the inner beauty. But i think she may have turned down role due to people body shame her.

She may be waiting for a good meaty role. I enjoy her IG reels.

She has been choosing or being offered crappy films.

The cheap rip off of Knives Out.. why would anyone pick that God knows!

Also, the weight issue, it leaves her to be chosen in a very limited range of roles although slface wise she is stunning

Saw her in 'Sherani' on Prime. The movie was amazing and Vidya was brilliant as usual. Hope she bounces back with a good script.

Hindi film industry is very unforgiving about weight,color,age and even appearance of female leads. Look at how much flak Aishwarya got for putting up weight post pregnancy. And she wasn't even acting at that time. Vidya,Parineeti,Sonakshi were criticized for not adhering to a certain body type even when they were very fit and beautiful. Vidya tried to fit in for a certain while before gaining her confidence back and letting her work speak. Pari and Bhoomi got caught in the trap and let it affect their work. Sonakshi never seemed to give a d*mn.
