I mean they came up with Aarav's mental state as an excuse for this engagement?? Agar Aarav ko ye bhi papa pasand nahi aaye toh Katha will find another man. Yuck. That's bad upbringing right there.

Now, imagine if this third man is actually good then, Aarav and Katha realize their love for Viaan and they abandon him for Viaan. So, what will be the fault of the third man, why was he abandoned? Now, its a show, to justify leaving him, they will make him evil, badly evil and then, audiences will hate the third man and yay #KaViaan together forever.

This is the entire problem with love triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, ocatagon, nonagon, decagon, polygon.

They are making Aarav a center of attraction and that's the main problem with this story.

Why some fans are frantically rooting for Viaan to move on, while Katha is being bashed left, right and center for the same is unfathomable to me. I mean no way do I want any romantic angle with the new entry, but I want the same for viaan too. You don't date/marry a man because he is a good psychologist to your child. That's the lamest excuse ever. But I'm pretty sure if Viaan is shown with a new woman, some people would happily cheer and celebrate while also simultaneously criticizing Katha for it. Like somehow her and Aarav were responsible for all that happened.

If he is shown still pining for Katha, how would that be so wrong? She was his first and only love. He considered Aarav his son. Gave a huge space in his life and home to him. Not enough time has passed for him to give up on hopes of reconciliation.

I guess I just don't see this as Katha v/s Viaan situation. Why should they both suffer anymore? I would rather root for them together, than pit them against each other.

Most probably romantic angle may not be present but, she is engaging to someone else.....

I'm literally pissed with the writers right now.What are they doing to Katha?? I started to watch this show for Aditi bcoz I loved her acting in Ganga ...knew was an acomplished actress.Didn't like Adnan's acting in initial episodes but he really surprised me.What a turn around by improving his acting chops by leaps and bounds!! I can't now even enjoy Aditi's acting just bcoz the way the writers are running her character.I feel the writers are even confused as to what to show.

Katha is remembering Viaan each and every time ...connecting to situations of present with past ....sleeps on floor as Viaan also sleeps on floor in jail but still she is going to get engaged with another guy!! Unbelievable!! Why is she destroying another man's life when she can't move on an inch from Viaan?? The way she said to Ehsaan to tell her when Viaan releases from jail...that cold tone of her really hurts!!

Viaan needs a huge jerk to come out if his la la land.Viaan telling Ehsaan to convey to her to wait ...he would fix everything and that he failed as a father!! He still expects that everything will fall in place...delusional aadmi!! 440 volt ka jhatka lagnewala hai when he will see Katha getting engaged. My hope to see Viaan Raghuvanshi 1.0 back is rising!! BTW I am surprised that within i months Katha and Aarav got so close to "woh" that she got so depended on him.Yahan bhi Ma and Maasi ka kissa hai

Exactly. Kal ko Aarav ko ye baap pasand nhi aaya to ye bhi tata bye bye. Could she have done the same if it were Adi? Changed her husband because her son developed a disliking to his father. Ya phir seedhe khinch ke do chaar jhaapad lagati? Because these men are not the biological fathers, I guess they're interchangeable for her.

Basically she is not looking for a husband but a child psychologist. Way to live your life, Katha. This is exactly how people should make one of the most important decisions of their lives.

God forbid if Aarav ever gets typhoid, malaria or some other disease and he starts liking his pediatric. Maybe she'll marry him too. Or Aarav visits a circus and gets obsessed with some joker because he showed him some tricks and made him happy. She'll marry the joker too. Bach gaya woh doctor who treated him during cancer. Kya pata woh bhi ek contender ho jaata

What if they too have some kind of understanding? Some pretense. In the og storyline, the guy was a divorcee and had a daughter. Maybe he'll also be a divorcee here. I don't know, I'm grasping at straws here. Anything to justify this nonsense and keep some hope. Because there's no excuse for this "anything for Aarav" plotline.

I had a meltdown watching the episode. It was all too painful to watch. Their sweet, precious moments, the way they both were remembering each other, the hope in Viaan that he can still make things right, that she would also be as loyal to him as he is. The way he asked Ehsan to tell Katha to wait for him... he would be absolutely devastated on learning of her engagement. I don't even want to see that breakdown. It would be too heart-wrenching. Just thinking about it makes me want to curl up and cry
