Oh yes! The Ringer...I only knew the German title (which is like 'taken for a ride')...well, I won't watch it as a Hindi remake (and neither a remake of Champions).

Just the time. The Ringer had the typical comedy movie structure of that time, Champions' structure is according to today's comedy style. Besides one of the Farrelly Brothers winning an Oscar just a few years back has given them the respect, they've also become Oscar-baity. That's all.
