They could've, I just could not watch the toxicity long enough to know, neither will I ask anyone to ever watch the show.

I partially do get why Anjali fell for Rahul during college, he did kinda lead her on with the "Pyaar Dosti Hai. Agar woh meri sabse acchi dost nahi ban sakti, toh main usse pyaar kar hi nahi sakta kyunki dosti bina toh pyaar hota hi nahi hai." and she was too young to recognise his mentality, because he kept acting like he valued her (maybe he even did, and was just a massive idiot to not see it till the station scene) + when she questions the scene after the party, her matron tells her to still confess?! The above dialogue does hold true in some weird way though - Your BFF is the most likely person you envision as your partner, coz there is a natural tuning there which can help sustain a relationship. If there is something I am glad KKHH showed is that Tina was a beauty-with-brains (she read Sidney Sheldon) and absolute sweetheart especially in the moment when she showed her maturity when Anjali was being laughed at by everyone, and even Anjali never disliked Tina for getting together with Rahul, nor held her responsible for her broken heart. Infact she left their lives when she realised she was being the third wheel (wish she would've gone post the final exams though, degree leke chali jaati). But yes, 8 years is a long time, she could have given Aman a fair chance, and he was anyways such a sweet guy, he would have kept her happy.

Absolutely 💯 correct here!

I don’t mind where both are waiting as they love each other but circumstances are different. However when one has clearly moved on then pinning for them is not right. Because you will always be a second choice. If the spouse was alive there is no way they would have been with you. Of course if they have moved on from their spouse ( widow or widower) then yes having a second chance is amazing. With Anjali and Rahul I found Rahul immature and childish at times. Maybe only Anjali can handle that madness. With Tina he was mature but with Anjali he was how he had always been. I guess that was the difference between two women.

I hate when women stick around to be with a man who has moved on and vice versa. Even Ayesha too her dard ka rishta was such a crappy thing and thankfully she realised that she has ruined her life and rightly so decides to divorce Jay as she doesn’t love him. It was equally stupid of Dhruv to make that idiotic promise but he does apologise although little too late.

I only watched two episodes of that show. One when she catches her husband red handed with another woman and keeps on living with him. The kids were grown up and she could have gotten divorced and big fat alimony too.

Second was when she was organising her husbands marriage which was so weird that lady the f**k is wrong with you? He cheats on you and you are happily planning his wedding to your saut? After that you couldn’t pay me to watch anupama ever again.

Best decision smiley20

That’s why I think Dhruv and tara were destined. The way I see it as kanaji wanted Tara to be with Dhruv and hence the illness of Mahavir and her traveling.

She told anusiya that she has never seen love such as Dhruvs in her century which means even her brother fell short. Dhruv has always been her guiding force and that’s why I was rooting for them. Before meeting Tara Dhruv was existing and so was she. Together, they are a force to reckon with. He brings that calming energy in her and she brings that naughtiness in him. Both compliment each other. I guess kanaji never makes mistakes.

In contrast I never thought Mahavir loved anusiya. She was almost his live in and all they talked about was Tara. The one time they do talk about themselves it’s about other people. So yes anusiya should not go back to him under any circumstances.

Did they bring toxicity almost straight away? I know the matriarch was a terrible lady but I could be wrong as I never watched the show.
