Can I just say - I love Dadima. She is strict yet she is fair. No wonder Agastya got the sense of fairness from her and her upbringing. I loved the way Dadi shut off Alka saying that yes she feels her pain and Alka has her sympathy as Dadi's son did cheat on his wife but nope she ain't hearing a word against her grandson whom she has raised. That is the first and foremost quality of a Lioness who knows how to protect her clan. Dadi was fierce when she told Alka to stop playing a victim card. So yes I guess Dadi as well as everyone knows the reason for Agastya's dad having an affair with the bar singer. The confrontation between the family members was superb and the actress playing Dadi is superb and in her element.
See she's good and all and has been super kind to Agastya but I somehow didn't like the fact that she expects her daughter in law to forget the dhoka her husband gave her, specially when she can see Agastya in front of her eyes etc. Dadi can't dictate how much hurt her bahu felt at the betrayal and how long she would take to heal. They haven't shown her justify or condone her son's actions yet. I loved the fact that Agastya is shown sensitive to his step mother ka pain and that's why he's not wanting to let Imlie ka truth about being a bar singer come out. I don't understand why would they show him justify his parents ka affair in the previous episode. Are they changing the storyline?
I absolutely adored the tender moment between Mama and Imlie. The only person who is by her side is Mama and loved the break down of Imlie. She is so hurt that Agastya terminated her job which was the only hope of hers to save her dead sister's son. Sigh - that scene was also well done.
See the thing is Mama needs to grow a spine. He knows how much Imlie is tortured in the house and still won't support her better. Just keeps drinking instead of bringing in money in the house. I mean he knows how risky it is to sing in that bar in front of drunk men and still he is not bothered to get a job to supplement the household income. The Mami is a nuisance and I'm glad Imlie told her off. I love when she doesn't compromise on matters related to Ashu.
Agastya and Sonali's face off is definitely the spice in the show. Sonali is a good takkar ka person for Agastya and it is absolutely adorable the way the actress calls Agastya "Lalla" - a term of endearment but nope nothing of that sort here. So Agastya is in a tough spot and Dadi was very correct when she said that for giving or terminating a person's job the one and only criteria should be their work. So I guess Agastya is going to change his mind and is going to walk into the bar to offer Imlie the chef position.
Yes their scenes light up the show man. Also the fact that the actors are so good and the scenes are well written and both of them have their own perspective. Yeah I know what you mean. Both know about their intentions and try to be fake civil with each other is so cute to watch lol. See I partially agree with you and Dadi here coz one of the important character traits in a job is integrity. As far as Imlie goes, her lies have made it impossible to trust her and hence Agastya is right to terminate her (despite her skills) coz of integrity issues. Ofcourse tomorrow's episode be will go to hire her again due to the investor demands/ needs.
And Bulbul needs to be exposed. Can I just say I hated the way she is weaving lies and making a bigger problem for Imlie. I just hope Imlie is not mistaken when Agastya sees her with the jeeja. Superb episode once again and loved all the tashan and confrontations between the various characters.
