What if Ak had a best friend

Like the title says, what if she had a best friend like OG akshara had varsha. Even though they became bhabhi-nanad, their relationship as friends was never affected. It is an established fact that goenkas are unreliable and dhaba on family name. Abhimanyu have manjiri who is his most adherent supporter, he also has a friend in rohan (), he have neil, shifali and to some extent anand to rely on, to give advice, to hold his back in time of need. Whereas ak doesn't in her family.

So the question is who could be her best friend.

Like in ITV fls, who and why would they be. Like I watched star parivaar awards and thought saavi might be been a good friend or sai.

I feel like Ak as a character doesn't form a lot of deep relationships with people because of how fake she is with them in a lot of cases. She was conditioned to hide her pain from everyone growing up and that's what she has continued to do. And the fact is that if your best friend or someone you really care about hides their pain and runs away from you, at some point you start to feel alienated by them.

I think that's what's happened with each and everyone of Ak's relationships except for Abhi, Manjari and finally Abhinav.

Meanwhile Arohi for example, was always a much worse person than Ak, but she was usually honest about her feelings with people. She took support of the people who loved her and in a lot of cases demanded people to love her. Initially I was suspicious about why everyone in Goenkas seemed to love her and understand her more. But now even with Birlas, Arohi has formed deeper bonds than Ak ever did.

True but as you said she was conditioned to hide her pain from a young age, to be able to form relations require being truthful which she couldn't be. She doesn't have that relation with her own brother that just shows how the environment for her would have been to go to that extent, it doesn't turn on or off like switch it would have been gradual and consistent throughout her time.

And with no sirat or kartik, no one would have stood for her. But when given chance she can like with abhi, manjiri and to an extent nav. So what if she got that chance earlier then in the show, perhaps during her teen phase or when she way away.

Agreed! I do think it would have been great to show Nav being a close friend from before or something. But as to other ITV heroines, pretty much all of them are from the same mold toh koi bhi chalenga. One I think would have been fun is khushi from IPKKD, during Ak's Mrs. Sharma phase.

Her best friend has to be someone who is outspoken and someone who would force her to share what’s in her heart and not escape all the time - so I don’t watch other shows- so whoever fits this description should be her best friend 😅

Yeah the best friend that didn't know what his moh bole son father name was, his bff true personality or her family. The kinda BFF that the world is crazy for. The bessst aacha aadmi

Because they all supported arohi and stood with her in difficult times whereas they threw ak out so how will she form a bond with them.

Poor girl would have been dead within months... separations have kept Abhimanyu alive, it is like slow poison
