So when Rumi tried to hurt Angad, the Khanda placed by Saheba would have saved Angad's life.

His character is there for a long time, I mean I guessed it by the way he describes and talks about his character, adding on he is quite a popular actor who has done lead roles in the past.

So may be its a possibility, he is here for a longer time. Also it again depends on the TRP.
