MLs are made to show dumb so that the villains and vamps get to play their moves. So that is not unusual. Here in this (and a couple more from same PH) the ML's character does questionable acts as the vamp is both his Bhabi as well as Sali. So the ML giving a pass to the vamp appears as if he is in a relationship with both the sisters at the same time. And additionally in this case the ML blindly trusts the vamp in 100% of the time whereas he is not so dayalu in case of his wife.

I feel mainly because of the Sahiba-Angad-Seerat relationship it becomes more despicable than other serials. If Seerat was not the sister /Sister in law it would have been no different from any other show.

But yes you can count out MLs like Anuj Kapadia (Anupama) who does not have this dumb trait.

Nope Vanraj Kavya affair. Trps increased then and increased further when Anu left him.

Same in Ud season 1, trps rose when ml was shown cheating with Sil and further rose when fl demanded divorce.
