This was her sangeet look. If bling and sequins is not your thing then this wouldn’t be for you, but I think at least she looks like a bride. There’s something about this outfit that will stand out. I didn’t get that from Parineeti’s sangeet outfit.

Not a nepo baby himself though his nephew got the benefit of his name.

I think Bollywood in the early 90s was still suffering from an 80s hangover fashion wise. Big shoulders, big hair, big accessories etc. Then Manish Malhotra did the costumes for some movies and the change was welcomed by all and he gained fame and prestige. I definitely agree that becoming friends with KJo probably didn’t hurt in the beginning but now he himself is big enough solo brand.

Kiara chose him for personal reasons. Both her and Sid are close to him. Kiara also mentioned once that at the start of her career when she needed a dress for an event other designers ignored her and Manish Malhotra was the only one who helped her.

Parineeti, I’m not sure why she chose Manish, and such questionable outfits too 🤷🏽‍♀️
