Akshay Baijal: "Over no 21-33 may hurt India. Crucial 25-30 runs lost" They are still on course for something very big

Jazz: "Andrew, do you think Australia getting battered and bullied by bazball in the ashes which we (let's face it) should've lost has shaken their bowlers confidence? Not to mention getting whacked by South Africa a couple of weeks ago." Not sure it's all connected, but there's has certainly been some treatment for them. Also some different faces in involved

You can't waste chances like these.

You won't get soo many chances like SKY and few others to show your merit.

You have to take these chances.

He is going to lead Indian team in Asiad which is currently underway in Hangzhou. He can prove his merit there.

Cheers..

Shreyas Iyer: My focus was on cramps, wasn't allowing me to hold firm. I was almost out caught and bowled, I realised my top hand wasn't working. After that, I was tying to smash every ball, I felt that I got the team in the right place. I was happy throughout the innings. My mindset was to play the ball in the V. I wanted to time it. I was experiencing variable bounce., Thankfully we were able to take that momentum towards our side. Shubman and I, we played a pretty decent knock and laid a strong platform. The other batsmen came in and expressed themselves. I got a great start, I was trying to play the ball on its merit and Shubman took the charge. It worked out for the team. Every individual stepped up. When I went into bat, there was variable bounce. Pretty hard to judge. I think we have a defendable total.

That's a tremendous total posted by India - their highest ODI total against Australia, and they have managed to achieve it without their mainstays - Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Gaikwad got India off to a quick start as the opener scored a couple of boundaries in the first over and set the tone. However, Hazlewood got him caught behind soonafter as the Men in Blue were reduced to 16/1 in the 4th over. Iyer walked in next and he attacked the bowlers right from the word go and looked really positive since the beginning. Along with Gill, Iyer had a fantastic partnership for the second wicket as the pair was severely punitive against the inexperienced Australian bowlers. There was a rain interruption as well, however, that didn't break Gill's and Iyer's concentration..
