I think it's because the makers highlighted Abhi's spirituality from the beginning. Even a random scene like this has an emotional appeal.

It was a smart move on the writers because it makes his character more relatable. He comes off more human to me. When he prays he does it for others not himself. He is earnest with his prayers so he gets special warnings lol.

He does have way more natural spirituality on the show than others and this keeps him grounded. He also has premonitions and can sense when bad things are happening to his loved ones. This trait of him makes him really relatable and special.

Best part abhir is alive because of abhimanyu and his prayers he is called as miracle baby. To miracle to happen there was some genuine prayer involved. Or show main sivaye abhimanyu ke nobody is that genuine. He genuinely wished his kids welfare do nahi but atleast ek toh bachgay lekin credit le liya mahan accha aadmi ne because of Akshara's foolishness

The only time he did not have any premonitions were from the WD for the next 6 years. He did not have any during Ak's problems, her delivery and Abhir being born was coz he removed his rudraksh and rejected his faith in Mahadev. He believed he lost everything. But maha dev was always protecting his most important loved ones and was waiting for his Bhakt to come to realisation. That's why it was shown once he bowed down in front shiv ling, everything came flooding back and once he started wearing rudraksh, he started getting premonitions about both Abhir and Ak.

Totally, loved the way they brought back the spirituality once he embraced it again. He had lost faith during the 6years crisis but later he got back to his spiritual roots and now he is getting the same premonitions and spiritual connection. Abhimanyu is such an interesting grounded character with so much shades and traits it's sad they didn't utilise the actor and character well.
