I would have liked Bumrah being rested as well before WC.

Thakur to Cummins, 2 runs, OUT

Zampa run out trying for three! Full and wide, Cummins reaches out and slices it behind point, SKY makes the save on the rope, he flicks it to Jadeja who misses it initially but he recovers and fires a good throw to beat Zampa trying to pinch a third

Adam Zampa run out (Yadav/Jadeja/†Rahul) 2 (2b 0x4 0x6 8m) SR: 100

The visitors have managed 276 after the first innings and they'll have mixed feelings about that. They lost Mitch Marsh in the very first over, but then David Warner and Steve Smith stitched together a partnership. The southpaw was helped by a Shreyas Iyer drop catch, and notched up a fifty. He tried to attack the spinners, but holed out to long-on. Smith too got a start but a nip-backer from Shami was too good for him. Labuschagne was unlucky to be out stumped off a delivery that deflected off Rahul's pads onto the stumps. Everyone in the Aussie top-order got starts but couldn't build on it as India kept fighting back. Josh Inglis impressed with 45, but fell to a superb Bumrah slower ball. Then Shami returned to claim three wickets at the death to end with a fifer. This isn't a classic Mohali pitch, it is a bit two-paced. Watch out for dew in the second innings, let's see how things proceed...

Gaikwad and Shubman Gill are at the crease. Gaikwad is on strike. Cummins will open the attack

Ind--6/0 after 1 over.

Rohit Sharma should play down the order and give chance to youngsters like Rutu, Ishaan above the order. Rohit likes to play fast bowlers that's why he always opens. He uses the speed of the ball and hits shots.

Cummins to Shubman Gill, FOUR, Shubman Gill is making that shot his own! Length delivery on off-stump, not really a bad delivery at all, Gill just stands tall and punches it through point with pristine timing, just excellent hand-eye coordination there

18/0 after 2.3 overs.
