See most of us audience don't have an issue with a negative character perse.
The issue is glorifying problematic behavior as something acceptable and defending it. Thats where these makers falter.
They made KKIS and ghum male leads also two timers but glorified them as being good humans. They are doing same with Angad. He's not bechaara, he's not coming across as genuine. Agar cheat hai toh hai. Dekhenge happily. But why show cheater like him being glorified as nek dil insaan. That's what lesds to trolling and unhappy audience.
Exactly! And you know what's funny...these writers they forcefully make characters say time and again that Angad rab ka bandha hein...nek dil hein uska... and it sounds so forced and silly. There's not a scene to support it. Call me an a##hole, but I just want this show to shut down.

Arman was a lot nicer than so many dil ka saaf positive male leads (relatively nicer , still trash), got his karma. Thankfully Ssp handled it well. When Ssp hits it hits, Diya Baati Hum, Dhruv Tara, Punar Vivah, yeh un dino ki baat hai all mostly positive male lead, ab beech main butcher ho jaate hai but overall their graph is nice. They did not make the ml a criminal in the guise of misunderstanding and force redeem them.
It is different that our hero is only falling lower each day like his tution teacher.

So idk, it could be just a detox, maybe he feels less productive scrolling on sm. Let us see how soon he decides to return.

Haan he has played negative before, but this character is quite weirdly unique though. He does troll Angad himself or even the story line sometimes. He’s been laughing about it too but what can one say from just posts and story?! He May have been feeling irritated and not able to give his 100% to shoots when all the negative comments are floating around. Somehow these makers do a good job with FLs but mess up MLs. All their FLs are not completely fault-less but they are more real and audience roots for them because they seem more genuine and inherently kind unlike ML who is the opposite - andar seh ghatiya but fake acchai on surface. Anubhav, Virat and now Angad, - sab dhongi, two-faced. Whereas Gungun, Sai and Sahiba all have flaws but the makers manage to show that all are genuinely dil ke acche. Uparseh can be irritating, short tempered or stubborn but dil seh they are kind, righteous, helpful..and all their vamps are stupid and lack any real motive - bass faltu obsession with ML despite having many better options to go after.
