When one is as talented as saba but gets sidelined for someone not even half as talented as her then people will get bitter and insecure. It's pretty obvious girls like Saba, sajal, maya etc were looked down on by the elite class from the industry when they all started off and had to work harder than others to reach where they are now.
Also if I am not wrong Mahira started it by boosting how she worked with srk and her movie made 100cr. As if she is the reason for making the movie reach 100cr. Saba only gave it back to her as her bollywood movie did better and she also had an equally important role as Irfan khan.
It's a known fact hum blacklists anyone and everyone who talks bad about Mahira and I doubt Mahira has no hand in it.

sure I agree with all that but Mahira’s rap wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. It was a skit at an award show written by Osman Khalid Butt. At the time she was the only Pakistani actress with a 100 crore movie. She might not have carried the film but she was apart of it .

Raees came out in 2016, Hindi medium in 2017, the award show happened in 2017, and Saba’s reply happened in 2018. The situation was just not that serious to be holding onto it for a whole year
