Shamar Springer | Player of the Match: I knew I wasn't going to start the tournament but kept myself ready. I always kept mentally strong and the hard work has paid off. When I went in to bat, my mindset wasn't to slow down the tempo, but to get set. It's a low scoring ground. I am ready for tomorrow's game. I'll take a massage, get into the pool (to recover).

Evin Lewis | SKP captain: Looking forward to the next year, couldn't come out on top in this one. We had a good start in the first 10, but the last 10 overs were pretty tough for our bowlers. With extra pace, I backed Oshane (Thomas.) It was a fantastic innings, we gave him (Cariah) a promotion after losing two early wickets. Anyway, it's done and dusted, nothing much can be done about it.

Brandon King | JT captain: The bowling has been good in general, but today it was outstanding. They (Reifer and Allen) are two very positive guys for us. That's been their role, they have been finishing well. He (Springer) has been incredible, he is a good person, also shows the hard work he puts in his practice. We will try and win tomorrow's game, not leaving anything on other results. Our destiny is in our hands.

Hello and a warm welcome to our live coverage of the match between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders in Guyana. Both teams have confirmed a top-two finish which holds them in good stead for the playoffs. The hosts have fired collectively as a unit and the results are there to see. Although they lost their last game against the Kings, they still sit pretty at the top of the table. On the other hand, the Knight Riders have been an epitome of consistency as well. They have won their last three matches on the bounce and would be eyeing to keep the momentum going before facing the Warriors in Qualifier 1. In the reverse fixture, the Warriors emerged victorious. Although it’s a dead rubber in the context of the tournament, don’t expect any drop in intensity from the players. Which team will come out on top today? Toss and team sheets coming up shortly…

Both of these teams have qualified (and are assured a top-two berth), meaning that there is not a lot riding on it (from a tangible perspective, at least). But with these sides set to clash when the stakes are a lot higher in a few days' time, neither would want to hand the other momentum and this match, thus, is one neither would really want to lose.

It's time for the toss. Tahir and Pollard are out for the toss. Tails is the call from Pollard but it comes down as heads. Guyana Amazon Warriors will bowl first. He says that this is what they want to build upon moving forward, adding that they learnt a lot the other day by bowling second but today they wanted to field first. One change for the Warriors - Sinclair comes back in for Nandu. Pollard says they have to bat well, now that they have lost the toss. Pollard mentions there are plenty of changes for the Knight Riders.

Kieron Pollard: Don’t have a choice. We have an opportunity and let’s see what happens. Hope we bat well. We have a few changes. For us, it is about giving opportunity. We are in the business end of the tournament and we will give our best.

Imran Tahir: We gonna look to bowl first and try and build that going forward, if we win the toss and what we need to do. Toss in not in your control and we have a choice, so we decided to bowl first today. It will be good practice for us. The guys know their job and they are taking their responsibilities. Junior Sinclair comes in for Matthew Nandu.

Let's see what the conditions have in store for us. The square boundaries are 69m and 71m, respectively. Danny Morrison reckons the pitch is quite dry and has a mosaic look to it, while being patchy. He adds it could be two-paced at the start, although it could get slicker as the game progresses if dew makes an appearance.
