The cutoff time for a 20-over game is 10:36 pm, as per the official broadcasters. In that case, India won't bat again and Pakistan will get a revised DLS target which would be something around 180 runs.

6.55pm The on-field umpires Gaffaney and Palliyaguruge are talking to Rohit Sharma. We can see them pointing towards the outfield, probably to the wet patches. They share a couple of nods before going their own ways. If I was a body language expert, I'd say we are not starting soon atleast. We'll know a "start" time only after "inspection", and we are not close to inspection yet.

18:58 Local Time, 13:28 GMT, 18:58 IST: The umpire just had a chat with Rohit Sharma, and then the Indian skipper gestures towards one part of the ground which relaying the message to the rest of his teammates. That damp patch probably continues to be the problem, we'll have to wait a little longer...

We just saw them talking to Babar Azam, and now Dravid himself is taking stock of the situation by heading to the ground and talking to admin people. Pakistan bowling coach Morne Morkel also joins him to get an on-ground update, followed by Rizwan and Babar taking a stroll in slippers.

They managed to save the greater part of the ground, so I hope the match will start soon.

19:03 Local Time, 13:33 GMT, 19:03 IST: There will be a pitch inspection at 7:30 PM. Bear in mind, so close to the World Cup the umpires and the team management wouldn't want to take any undue risks with any of these players.
