Tbh I always got the feeling Salman wears his stardom on the sleeve …his nonchalance is actually what got him his fan base in the first place …he never seems like he’s trying too hard to do the right films , or work with directors who have a good track record/ credibility …..he does absolute trashfests for friends and family and his fans do like the fact that he’s so “idgaf”
I don’t know how but…people like him even in ridiculous hair cuts, ridiculous films, ridiculous dancing, ridiculously written songs/films …criminal cases , abuse stories, arrogant interviews , dumb statements , fights in the industry, stories of abuse …it’s like nothing dents his stardom…he’s just blessed man
I’m not saying every film of his is a bit but he can give 40 flops in a row without trying to lift a finger, and his next film will still have some hype …
Srk and aamir are also big enough to not have petty things dent their stardom but u can tell they actually try to do good films and have earnt some credibility ..
Salman is like that back bench student who doesn't try, and gives an empty exam paper to the teacher, but the teacher still gives him good grades…it makes no sense 😂….

Other than Bodyguard I don't think any of his lame films have overperformed even that film had A-listers and good music, Ready was fun, Kick had superb trailer nd dope album, Tiger series, Bharat, Sultan, Bajrangi all had good performances and packaging.....
With his sleep walking performances, berozgar yojna and "creative" choices he managed to destroy Dabangg level franchise which was a cultural reset....so na he ain't immune anymore...
