Initially, talk was SRK and producer buy all tickets. Unfortunately, numbers prove this argument stupid because the cost of tickets would be beyond the net worth of SRK.
Now, it's corporate bookings.
1. Why are corporations booking for SRK without some return on investment?
2. If SRK is not popular, there won't be return on investment.
So they are spending crores and crores on an actor who they know can't bring audiences into theaters. Why, bhai, why?
I usually tell fellow SRK fans he is not actually King Khan.
His non-fans appear to believe it more. Apparently, he is so powerful that he can get multi billion dollar multinationals to spend millions of dollars over an unpopular movie star in Bollywood. Man, y'all believe this, then hate truly is a different form of love. You love SRK blindly.
Not to mention if they are corporates which actually function outside India and have to answer to tax authorities. I can just imagine the tax filings. 1 million - Pathan opening tickets
. And how they would send the info to shareholders.
Some logic has to be there, no, when making silly statements like corporate booking?
