They can show Memory loss for Dhruv before marriage.

Dhruv attacked by enemies but survived as he learnt basic/ enough to save himself . And somehow goes 21st century after forgetting Tara's arrival part or full memory loss then after few days / months when Tara couldn't find him she decided to TT to check 21st century , there she meet him & choose 21st century over 17th century..

Or it will be simple DT Breaking curse, returning to where time stopped then most probably their Attempt to stop Mahaveer's wedding & kings murder and Dhruv returning to 21st Century with Ravi Papa.

And Tara following them.

Dhruv can be upset or not , They can Show Tara's Redemption.

Looking at this track, I guess this was exactly how the writers originally intended to carry on once the King died.

Tara blames Dhruv (sword fight scene), DQ keeps shouting revenge, T sentences D to m-dand and then Ranchod comes in.

For the 2 week break because of Riya and Krishna's illnesses, they brought in PSM, and modified the dialogues slightly to include Dhruv's bravery in saving Vallabhgarh once Riya and Krishna became fit. Maybe also made Mahavir a little more neutral towards D because he helped save Vallabhgarh.

The problem though is that the "kill Dhruv at all costs" attitude looks more weird from a 21st century lens after the PSM track (more so because the watching audience know he didn't kill the King). It was somewhat justifiable before PSM (note that I say somewhat!)

Unfortunately I therefore don't think the writer has made any serious alterations in the script due to R and K's dengue.

Here's what I think they could've done to minimise the damage created to the characters after PSM and still go by their own original script

~ In jail, before the funeral, T privately asks D if he can prove himself innocent. D replies no.

~ At the crematorium, T lists all out of D's good work (including the saving VG part), and so chooses to banish him from VG and breaks D-T rishta. Tells that it's a one-time amnesty and he'll be killed if he's spotted again.

~ Majnu D however doesn't want to go and chooses to hide somewhere and buy time.

~ The news that D hasn't time travelled and hasn't left the kingdom comes to DQ's ears. She is mad at Dhruv being allowed to go, and privately organises this swayamvar in the hope that D will be enticed to come again, and will thus break the conditions of his amnesty, and so can be executed.

Yes, this probably makes DQ's character terrible, but no better than what they've made it now, and it will probably redeem T's character a bit.

You are absolutely right and I completely agree with your comments here. I can admit candidly that right now I am lost totally with the story. I am not expecting logic as it is never possible in ITV but even without that the story is so convoluted it is not making any sense whatsoever, at this point I don't even know if there is a story.

See Tara being angry at Dhruv after sword fight and hell bent on punishing him because he killed her dad after his angry rant would have made a lot more sense. When dad is dead love takes a back seat I buy that, no issues. I also think bringing that princess and saving the kingdom was a bad plot. They could have simply continued on with both Tara and Mahavir being kidnapped, and Dhruv being the savior, Queen still not buying it but M and T thinking and maybe looking at the possibility that he may be innocent. So M, T, and D working together would have been brilliant. Tara can still be upset with Dhruv and but helping him. In between Krishna helping them achieve their goal.

Right now Tara alternating between wanting to punish Dhruv and then going on about love is ill placed. I know end game is Dhruv and Tara and they are destined, so I am not going to waste my time and energy on hating her or being upset with her as it is pointless. But I do see the disconnect. She was told by Shyam, then she herself knows his good deeds, and yet she is flip flopping more than a Republican candidate at a debate stage. Either she hates him and I will buy that and look for her redemption when she finds the truth out, or she loves him and wants to prove him innocent. Right now I can see the frustration as she is not consistent, she never was but at least before we knew her love is pure.

Anyway I am glad Krishna is guiding them as right now it is bhagwan bharose. I have no f****g idea what is going on and now that kanjar babaji is back too. Good!!!! this time let kanaji handle that guy and I hope even he realises that going around giving curses is not a thing.

Queen has lost it - basically what my gujju family will say, " vinash kal viprit buddhi", Mahavir and Tara are lost, Dhruv is perpetually in pain, Tillu is doing her best to be a baddie, Anusiya is somewhat stable, and Kahanji is talking in riddles and making me more confused. But I know with 100% that no way will they ever ruin a godly character so that is the only hope. They can ruin everyone else but not god so that is my only hope otherwise I am losing interest big time with this series.

Once they brought new plot, continuing on with old one is not the right way to go. I sincerely wonder that in India do writers need an English or creative writing degree? I feel they have taken plots from Danielle Steel, Jackie Collins, and James Patterson's novels and came up with love/hate/revenge/time travel/murder/mystery plot which is not making any sense at all. Right now I wonder how the actors are feeling? Riya is looking so skinny her clothes are hanging on her and they are bulking Ishaan up. This whole Swayamvar is gods idea so no point in getting upset with Tara but once Dhruv marries her does he expect to live in that weird getup? First we had Tara in weird get up and now we have Dhruv - at least they are twinning that way, with true love and all - right!!!!

Aur phir apna dhruv bhi kaise react karega after his truth is out wo bhi dekhna padega. Obviously in a perfect world dhruv asaani se maaf toh nahi karna chahiye inhe but in ITVs we really can't have logic can we?.kabhi kabhi sochta hoon dhruv aaya hi kyon 17th century 21st mein hi thik tha apne family ke pass. Let's hope writers dhruv ko bhi thoda justice de after his innocence has been proven.

Yeh Maharani apne good for nothing husband ke liye Dhruv who actually saved her, gave her new life, respect ki toh 🔔 care ya respect nahi karti hain.

But yeh aurat apni beti ki baja rahi hain uss insaan ke liye jisne isse kahi ka nahi choda.

Btw, there's a new spoiler where Dhruv Khilji is fighting against fellow princes, and doing quite well actually (see the spoiler thread)

I had always thought Dhruv learning sword fighting and horse riding in the 17th century would've been nice to watch. They were essential skills in that century and I thought he'd learn it from Tara and Bhaiji, with the possibility of some nice D-T, D-M and D-T-M scenes interspersed.

Didn't quite anticipate him learning it this way though

If they make him a semi-competent warrior (shouldn't be possible in such a short period of time, but this is ITV after all), there's every possibility we could see "King Dhruv" in the future.
