True that everyone is missing Fayaan/Aakarika as much as the loyal audience. From my interactions with the inner circle, I understood that there was no plan to have another partner for either of them. It was Fayaan. The triangle, as usual, will be broken by either of the leads. They had plans for an elaborate cricket track, paternity track etc. A solid story for 3 years was already drafted. The makers lost the plot after the ashram track when the channel forced them to go off-air. So, the decision was taken during the ashram track. They tried their best to negotiate and was given an inferior slot. The shock hit them so hard as they had to rework all of what they had written and planned. It is so sad... But as the audience, we just wanted Fayaan... We could have been happy just seeing them and not some Neel or someone.... Instead of trying to stick to what they had, the makers could have considered the audience and shown us more of Fayaan...

Kanika would have had a proper realization of her mistakes.

Sid would have had a plumper role; there would not have been a stretched triangle. It could have been the paternity track with all the twists and turns. That was one area which was unexplored by the makers. They could have even shown a flashback with different actors. So much could have been done.

Just imagine.. If all this had been shown, we would have been at number 2... a trp of 2.4 was easily achievable.. But again, POWER RULES...

I don't wish the new show bad luck, but will never watch that or any of Sahi's work (movies , shows or anything remotely related to him)..

From the story and character graph I also felt they were adding new characters just to stretch the drama for longer period. I can't logically pin point why I get the vibe from the show but it was heading towards the OG concept of the show with lots of family drama. See, this is ITV and they have to show these high-voltage drama. In a way I really liked how they used to make unexpected plot twists and hook everyone to the screen. Everyone was always like what will happen next, thanks to their unpredictable story line.

There is a never ending argument what didn't work well in the show but the truth is, it didn't get off-air due to Ruhaan, Neel track or audience lost interest. It got off-air because of lots of reason and I feel there is no point in elaborating all those things again and again.

It's been nine days and we still miss Faltu, Ayaan, Fayaan, Aakash, Niharika and other cast members. There will be always an emptiness about the show as there was enough potential in the story.

At the end of the day this emptiness might fill with time.

Lets hope for the best ❤️

I assume they had planned to finish the family drama stuff after the Ruhaan track, but then the bomb struck. We should also look at the cost aspect of stuff. More than 50% of the family disappeared. Chachi was there when Savitha was not there and vice versa. Sumitra disappeared.. Suhana too...

The Ittarpur family.. Prathap (I loved his character), Faltu's mom was not even there for the wedding...

I am kind of sure that the channel and PH fought on the basis of money allocation as well.. So they bought 2 characters, made it a simple triangle and finished the story.. Even the cricket part was done with vfx.

This has to be a case study of ruining a project for nepotism and power... I am sure they will face the effects of KARMA..

Faltu for a fact did not go off air due to any tracks not working or low trp.

The truth is what we all know and all the actors have spoken about production house was small and could not put up a fight in front of Sahi's power. Sahi wanted 9pm at any cost.

Rajan Sahi is not what he seems to be, all think Ekta is villainous one but she's much better. I am not saying this due to Faltu being off air due to him, Known some inner stories.

PH had differences with channel where they did not agree for a certain changes ( but for a fact I know they were asked to make some changes with lead couple story) so things were amicably decided by the channel and PH.

there is a reason for not getting a slot change for a good trp show & will always be a big question.

for the past 3yrs all the 9pm slot shows went for a complete story change after 150 episodes.

Kaha Hum - couple separation out of the blue

Saath nibhana - original male lead got killed was suppose to return but new guy became lead.

Banni chow - male lead had baby with another woman owing to split personality

all the producers had the same to tell they were asked by the channel to bring change in the storyline.

You mean the PH was asked to separate Fayaan? Did you hear this from someone in the inner circle? Why bring a change in the storyline when the original storyline is getting the required trp?
