If things are like this then, it is definitely forced and, I am not interested in it. But, execution is more important. Right now, not even C of Chesmistry has started. Ehsan is suppressing his feelings, Vaanya sees Ehsan as a sibling and the relationship between them is getting worsened.
Right now, Vaanya and Ehsan are more like siblings than couples. Ehsan is like Viaan's brother and Vaanya is like Viaan's sister which makes Ehsan and Vaanya siblings. And, that siblings relationship is shown well. And that is what exactly the directors are trying to show.
Vaanya requires a lot of screentime to make her likeable. I often hear people complaining how the female lead isn't flawed but, now Vaanya is flawed, people have problem with it.
It will take a lot of episodes to make Vaanya likeable. For me, I think she is doing a fine job as a sibling. Issue is with Ehsan. The way he sees Vaanya is not that of a sibling that's what is annoying. We are just so attached to Ehsan that it is not so easy to imagine him with Vaanya.
Sometimes, I think there is some match between Ehsan and Vaanya. Both are very talkative and cheerful and chik-chik types. She is literally chik-chik aunty. I think this is one common thing in their chemistry XD. It is more like Karan-Preeta chemistry. Both were chik-chik while Preeta was constantly annoyed with Karan. Kind of cliche but, execution is all that matters. Only after seeing the execution, something else can be said.
