Music of Mimi is better than 95% of the junk Bollywood has been churning out in the last decade so I don't know what you're smoking
AR Rehman tries too hard to sound innovative, just to show he is some kind of musical genius. He fails at it.
He just had a blockbuster PS2. What do you mean what happened?
It sounds like you're expressing your preference for the music from the movie "Mimi" and your dissatisfaction with a lot of Bollywood music from the past decade. Music is subjective, and people have varying tastes when it comes to different genres and styles. "Mimi" might have resonated with you due to its unique sound, composition, or emotional connection. Bollywood, like any film industry, produces a wide range of music, catering to diverse audiences. Some people might enjoy the music from recent Bollywood films, while others might have different opinions. Ultimately, it's all about personal preference, and there's no right or wrong answer when it comes to music appreciation.
Nothing. Rahman is just going through the phase that 'GOAT' Ilaiyaraja or other GOATs before him went through.
A phase where no one really cares about them while they go about their work as they did before, but with lots of experimentation. A lot of it will be underrated (barring some random success here and there). People will remember these works decades later when 'time' erases all the memories associated with Rahman and the whole era itself. The good work which doesn't get its value 'now' will survive and find its value then. It has happened to the GOATs of the past and will happen to Rahman, as well.

Thank you! 😆 I was wondering the same. A.R. Rahman is thriving without help from Bollywood. He has his own frigging studio in L.A, of all places.
Next up:
Whatever happened to Christopher Nolan?😳
What happened to Tom Cruise?
What happened to Kamal Hassan?
What happened to Rajni Kanth?
What happened to Aishwarya Rai?
I mean, even TS made a song like Me! and an album that underperformed and made everyone think her career was declining.
