Waiting for the trailer..I heard Salaar will have no song promos. In action films..random songs ,which don't take the story forward, dilutes the impact of a teaser.Earlier 'vamps' were used to add thrill, when the hero was expecting danger.Recently,I remember Katty's song failing against Gali gali kyun firta hai from KGF .Both released at the same time.

My head is in the sand but I have seen the hype on IG and T-series has been promoting the songs on Spotify🤷‍♀️

I think it definitely has hype. It’s just not in the forefront because everything has been about Gadar2 the past week. So immediate media attention has been shifted. Songs are not at the same level of hype as Pathan’s was though, so there’s that.

I think it’s an absolute given that the movie will have a bumper opening. Very likely a record breaking opening. Beyond that no one can really predict anything. Recent reports are saying it’s made with a budget of 300cr, and distributors have a bidding war for its rights, which implies high prices. So there’s a narrative that recovery and profitability might be challenging. But if it goes the route of Pathan then nothing to worry about.
