I have heard the rest but the Rimi Sen oneOriginally posted by: CobraKai1972
1. "Alia Bhatt is the Robert De Niro of our generation. " - Varun Dhawan
2. "Adolf Hitler started the Olympic games" - Bipasha Basu Singh Grover
3. "Rohit Shetty is an amazing director. He can even make a black African look pretty" - Rimi Sen
4. "Dilwale is in line with Inception" - Varun Dhawan
The most matlab-kuch-bhi statements have to be these two though,
1. "It is a role of a lifetime. You cannot ask for more. At least in the last 15 years, I haven’t seen any heroine having such a powerful role." - Kareena on her character in Mai Prem Ki Deewani Hoon.
2. "I felt like a raped woman" - Salman Khan

OMG nice thread pls keep coming.
I was hoping the magazine misquoted him or out of context or something like that
Actors used to claim that whenever they got into trouble cz of something they said during magazine IVs
And I thought his cricket comment was the worst
Although I still think that's the worst

Thank you Kareena and Thank you SB
Not necessarily to defend Jhanvi, but I can relate. And many people probably do.
I always struggled with math in school. I was infinitely slower than most people and often never completed my math papers. Even as an adult, I struggle with mental math and use my fingers to calculate. Most likely, I have dyscalculia. Unfortunately, the Indian school system doesn't accommodate people with learning disabilities. Because math made me feel like I was dumb, and I knew I wasn't dumb - I lashed out at math, calling it dumb and stupid and professed the superiority of history, literature, and social studies - that I thought provided more useful knowledge.
Now that I can use calculators and can take my time to absorb and solve problems slowly - I don't hate math as much. I even enjoy nerding out with math.
Many ordinary people who sometimes make WTF statements about education - simply did not get the support they needed during their education.

I can definitely relate to the way you worded it. But what was the need of her to say math makes you retarded? What if someone is only good at math? The world retard is a slur for mocking the disabled.
