Oh yes, I think it was for Big Bang productions and the rumoured title was "Pagli". Fahad Mustafa did say during an interview that YZ will be working for their production soon but that was a few months ago. Not sure if it actually landed.

I do like Sajal and she is a good actress but I have only seen Sajal in Behadd and YKS and planning on watching Kuch Ankahi soon. None of them show this kind of romance so don’t know how she would do.

I have to say though, I always knew Yumna suited the romance genre. I remember when PKS was airing, the chemistry between Yumna and Bilal was so good, that even Amna took the risk of asking Yumna during an interview if there was something going on between the two of them offscreen 😆 It may be a surprise to people, since Yumna is more girl-next-door pretty rather than unattainable supermodel pretty - but chemistry isn't about looking drop-dead gorgeous, it's about connection. There are so many Bollywood pairing that look gorgeous but fail at the box office.

Yumna's strengths is that she's an uninhibited performer, which is why she doesn't look like she's conscious performing romantic eye locks or vulnerability. Secondly, Yumna is great at establishing a connection with her co-actors, not just the love interest. Even her and Yasra in DNUTN and her and her mom in PKS had great action-reaction. THat's why, in addition to the romance, the nok jok scenes between her and the ML is fun to watch. Example - Abdullah and Mahjabeen, Hayat and Zaki, and of course Murtasim and Meerab.

I think this is an unpopular opinion but I liked Iqra in Suno Chanda and Gusthak Ishq. She also emotes well and I felt she had good chemistry with Farhan Saeed in Suno Chanda.

Is that an unpopular opinion?! I thought majority liked her in Suno Chanda. I think it does take a few episodes to get used to the tone of drama, but once you warm up to the characters, Iqra and Farhan's pairing is very charming.

My favourite Iqra pairing though is her and Bilal in Qurban. They were cute.
