They were on top; Nav fell, BP saw Nav fell, and Abhi immediately climbed down. Everyone was already there; that is how BP could see Nav falling. Abhi got to Nav maybe a few seconds before and was taking the pulse.

The whole episode was executed poorly, but that doesnt mean anything for the characters themselves.

Abhi was already holding abhinav in his arms and checking pulse. Akshara arrived and she was acting cranky, not listening to abhi and abhi had to shout at her to bring her back to sense and then the rest arrived!!!
