Abhimanyu took a Mahan decision today, I get it.

However, AbiM wasn't blind before, He totally understood Abhir wasn't happy in Birla H

He knew whatever Manjri did was wrong.

He is not a child, He could have just done what he did today way before. He just screamed at Manjri, which really had no effect on Manjri,

It took Abhir to run away from home, verbally stating to AbhiM 'I DON'T WANT TO STAY WITH YOU"

for AbhiM to realize!

I know AK did wrong by hiding Abhir's truth but as a father, his priority would have been Abhir's happiness.

Yes, Manjri was mainly behind those dramas, but he could have stopped those trial nonsense and saved Abhir to go through this mental trauma.

i dont think so abhi had a choice...abhir clearly mentioned that he will run away again if he has to stay with abhi...

so it was not abhi's decision....he was forced to do it...koi chara nahi tha uske paas....ab literal sense mein bandi bana kar to nahi rakh sakte the na abhir ko...😂

It SHOULD have been abhi's when abhi saw abhir sad.....he was taoytally oblivious to what abhir is going thru...or pretended as one..for him jis mamma's insecurities wrer larger and more importsnt tah abhir and Akshu...

Exactly…what changed abhim mind….in court itself abhir clearly told that he want to stay with his parents not his real father but abhim didn’t back off case then….if he would have done it this child would have been spared from this traumatic situations

If you don't know the reason/ missed it cause u skipped episodes.

1. Needed to win custody for Abhir even to know that Abhi is his birth father.

2. If backed out from custody, Abhir would likely never know/ know later in life/ might have asked why you didn't tell me etc

3. If he gave up midway like after winning custody - he has to declare legally that he cannot take his own son's responsibility. This ensures he will never be able to fight for it or demand any rights on Abhir.

4. Fighting for someone you love is not a bad thing, even if they don't love you back at least you fought for them. That is the entire basis of Abhi as a character. If you don't agree with that, its your opinion, but its not a bad thing.

He obviously knew Abhir won't be happy without his parents, he said that many times. But after he got custody, he wanted to try coparenting at least. Which also he did not get to do.

ALSO ITS BEEN TWO FREAKING WEEKS!!!!!!!!!

Abhi and Manju wanted to give sometime to abhir to adjust in the house. As even anand mentioned in the last episode, kids take time to adjust to new place.

Also abhir had stopped opening up to abhi as well.

The custody battle was started by BP and all 3 parents agreed to it. So it's everyone's fault here. And if abhi won the custody it was not his fault, it was a fair win. Akshara couldn't take the defeat and started creating chaos in BH.

Had Akshara been more matured and spoken to abhir and his issues, like the way abhi tried, things would be different. But how can we expect any maturity from Akshara.

Anyway, now that the kid openly said he doesn't want to be in BH, abhi granted his wish.

Stepping back and letting go is also love….ak said in court itself something like even if they win they will let abhir know about his real father and can spend time with him too…it is what abhinav mentioned when abhir couldn’t meet them at weekend and abhim is blindly defending his mother…in two weeks he couldn’t decide that his son is not willing to stay with him or check his academics on his own or to know about his mental health…..it took fight with shivu and ak/arohi screaming at his face to get him know about actual depth of situations and reality of his mother’s selfishness……it took abhir to run away and him directly telling on his face for him to realise and free his kid….what changed now ….abhir would have been spared from this 2 weeks of trauma

Child run away because akshara made sure ki baccha sirf usi ke sath khush rahe, uske bina jaha bhi baccha jaye waha akshara usko zinda lash bana kar bhejti hai so she can say ki dekho baccha sirf mere sath khush reh sakta hai😆

Ha behen, ghar se bacche ko pura tod kar kuchal kar bahar bhejogi toh baccha jaha jaye waha dukhi he hoga na😆

again, it's been two weeks. .And yes, Manjari was wrong, and she has already accepted that. The pacing of this show is weird, so I understand your confusion.

But realistically, even when kids change schools, teachers give them leeway for a few weeks to catch up. Abhi is a single dad with a full-time job, so his leaving some things to his mom is not a big deal. Most people in big families do. Even Ruhi's responsibilities are shared by multiple people. We see Abhi constantly being with Abhir when he is home, and when he is not, he is at work. So again, not sure as to the issue is with that.

He did step back. He tried for a mere two weeks. Realistically this decision should not have been taken. They should have given Abhir time to adjust and should have done more co-parenting things so Abhir didn't feel cut off from his parents, etc. That is the correct and logical way in such situations. Abhi only let go for Abhir to be happy.

It was honestly a funny episode, and all the comedy material was provided by kandmaata. I mean she seriously had the nerve to keep saying that if court decided to give them abhir's custody then it must have been for a good reason, despite both her and Abhimanyu knowing fully well the literal only reason they were given abhir's custody was because they are rich, a real rude slap on the face to most of the parents in this world who are poor/middle-class (so by the court's logic most parents in the world should have their kids taken from them in favour of having a child adopted into a rich family then).

Then even after the umpteen time hearing from abhir how he can't live without his parents and that he will continue to run away to be with them, she still chose to be completely dismissive about abhir's happiness and feelings even after everything she has seen and heard. This woman can only function as abhi's mother.... her grandson wouldn't even land on number 10 on her list of priorities because all the other positions on that list are allotted to her son and her own ego/ feelings. She hasn't once actually thought as herself as abhir's grandmother, but only abhi's mother, which is why she keeps brushing off abhir's pain.

Then some criticism is required for anand and manish.

Anand spouting bakwaas about how abhir will get used to living without his mother the more they force abhir to live with birlas 🤪 Yeah sure, Birla's are such caring and good people to raise a child when they say such garbage for their own benefit, regardless of how miserable it makes a child.

I was rolling my eyes non-stop at manish talking about how akshara-abhinav's financial status will improve and him sulking. He really disappointed me because I was hoping at one point at least one character will point out that having an abundance of wealth isn't required to raise a child, yet even manish in his silly dialogues was propagating this silly itv logic that parents need to be wealthy to raise a child. A parent needs to be able to provide a safe environment for a child, provide the child with it's basic needs such as food, shelter education and emotional stability, and that's what most courts also expect from a parent/ parents, which is what Abhir has been getting all these years from akshara-abhinav.

I wasn't surprised at parth suggesting akshara-abhinav wouldn't be able to afford to send abhir abroad for studies, because what an absolute necessity it is in a child's upbring to get overseas education in a swanky school/ university

A lot of stupid things were said in this episode, and for once I had no criticism towards abhimanyu, because at least unlike his family elders who still couldn't give two-shits about the child who is suffering, he did wake up and realise his son's happiness and feelings are above whatever else anybody else thinks or wants.

I wholeheartedly had problems accepting that during a custody case the richer parent always gets the custody.

From a legal webpage which details how custody works in India ,I came to know that for young kids the custody usually goes to the mother unless she is financially incapable. This no where indicates that the richer parent always wins. So it was a complete Bakwas shown in the custody case. The Sharmas were not incapable to raise Abhir properly with their finances .Maybe he would have been raised as a middle income family's kid and not a rich kid.

And I do not completely know abt India but in USA this financial logic does not hold true at all. During divorce rich celebrity fathers have to give hefty alimony to mother and child support to their children and the custody goes to their mothers most of the times with father getting weekend /holiday visitations mostly. So in reality Birlas being rich should not have mattered at all. On the contrary ABhiM should have been made to pay child support money for raising Abhir in Birlas status.
