This is what the writers have presented, the 6 year kid decides who he wants to stay with and on top of it all he asks his REAL father if he can go back and call him Docman. That is brutal. Even ma and pa,are added to badepapa, badima, dadima, grandmother and grandfather but today the 6 year old can't bear to call his real dad DADDA. That dialogue should never been given to a 6 year old.
Whats next the 6 year old will ask Abhimanyu's name to be removed from his birth certificate? Will the court comply? There is a reason why kids under a certain age are not allowed to work, to vote , to drive and sign legal papers. The dialogue writing was just WOW.
It maybe brutal to the big man, but for the child its that simple. And this was something clear from the start. He always wanted to live with his parents, always wanted to go back to Kasauli, remember even after his surgery he asked to return back. No child can just accept overnight a new father having lived away from him. Abhir’s life was always around Akshnav, so if Abhimanyu suddenly shows up and claims to be his dad, its natural that Abhir will face difficulty accepting that. No matter how much of a truth is that they are the same DNA, we cannot expect a 6 year old to reasonably accept this logic of DNA, blood, etc. Worse is that he constantly said sorry to Abhimanyu and that he does not want to hurt him but still gets called a user. Abhim has always been praised for being upfront and honest, so why should Abhir face the brunt for doing the same? Just because Abhim will be in pain, its okay to say things like that to a kid; but pichle 3-4 weeks se jo wo bachha pain mein hai tab Abhim ko kyun nhi bola gaya? And I agree to your point that 6 year olds cannot decide things for themselves, but aaj ke episode mein Abhir wished for something, uske baad Abhim khud bolta hai ki main Abhir ka guardian hun and he is the one deciding eventually, not Abhir. He decides to tell the court that he is not able to tell take the responsibility, not Abhir. It was a simple thing, Abhir put forward his wish and Abhim fulfilled it. He could have said no, and then made Abhir hate him, but he took a wise decision to comply. So no, this is very much a possibility, idk why you think it is not. About the dialogues, yeah usually its really crappy, parr aaj I liked seeing both sides putting their perspectives. They discussed Abhir’s mental heath getting affected, they also discussed the financial issues, they also discussed how this is going to affect Ruhi and Shivu too negatively, all of it were valid points, which they should have discussed in the court battle itself.
