Tabhi I am saying that the stupid writers need to show us how much she loves him as she is not consistent. Tab she got angry at her bro and said no more rakhi like that matters, mein to aivay keh deti hu to my bro that I won't be tying any rakhi if I don't get this and 90% of the time he says he can't be bothered 🤣 so her not tying the rakhi, to me was like...meh! so what!

At that time it was a big thing but whatever mainu te pata ni 15 saal toh upar hogaye mai rakhi nhi bani mere bhra de. I was like meh whatever anyways moving on 🤣

Plus I think that dad is gone for real. I really really want her to bloody rebel and say no!!! Dhruv is more important at least once in this crappy century.

My mind already working overtime with a new one shot brewing i just want to see how they play out this maharaj killing sh*t 😆

I agree aur humare writers toh pehle se hi delusional hai yeh kare ge na toh hum log pagal ho jayege🤪

Wohi to itna pyaar to maa ko bhi ni hai apne pati se! Achha hai mar gaya he was waste of space.

Hain na? after 12 no one cares about rakhi shaki. My bro to pehnta bhi ni hai he says it doesn't fit in with his looks. Maybe in 17th century it mattered but yahan to bra Mahaveer bhi bhondu hai. One accusation aur seedha shaadi aur baap one accusation and seedha death sentence. Matlab intellect ko to bhul jao.

Hahahahaa same - I saw he is alone in the room and I thought what!! Queen quit already? smart woman - she knows he is not worth it. Jab mar raha tha tab koi ni aaya aur jab mar gaya tab sab aa gaye, kaise?🤪

Abhi ho hi rahe hai na? Unke sadi story ki wajah se. First that kanjar babaji who for an old man is super duper fit ke kaise palace aa gaya pata bhi ni chala. Then curse of a place of all things. Bhawanji ka kya phir? And now woh kamina Samrat jail mein se kaand kar kar raha hai aur yahan kisi ko kuch ni pata chal raha. So I doubt they can figure out complicated stuff.

Some people do care! No doubt but as we grow we just decide we don't want to do it anymore.. mahaveer bhondu hai yeh mujhe tab pata chala jab he believed that sanki Buddha..

I think Maharani liked her peace more than being in same as the Maharaj 🤣 ayee vese yeh bhi sach hai sab ke sab tab hi ate hai jab khand ho jata hai 🤣

That is given marte marte bhi galat kaam kar ke mara kamina. What was the point, should have just died nicely and let everyone speculate no?

True, plus people learn. He wanted his sister to be a doctor, wanted equal rights for women, wanted progressiveness and then believes a kanjar babaji??? That is so inconsistent. If you believe in all that then you should take future telling with a grain of salt. However, tab he tried some trick to save Dhruv jo waise dekho to silly tha but tha to sahi.

I think Maharani liked her peace more than being in same as the Maharaj smiley37 ayee vese yeh bhi sach hai sab ke sab tab hi ate hai jab khand ho jata hai smiley37

Who wouldn't though? First being married to him would be a death sentence in itself, isse achha hai ek baar mein kaam khatam karo. No wonder Queen didn't want her exile to end and even wanted to give that agni ki pariksha thinking if I die thats great as anything is better than the king. Tab Dhruv ne bacha liya and thappad bhi kahye shayad for ruining her plan, now that I think about it.

It is so ITV that people only come after kaand ho jata hai, usse pehle kahan hain ye log?

South Indian languages? I wish I could learn at least one but I never actively looked for opportunities either which is on me totally.

Hindi I learnt by watching those horrible shows that my mother used to watch. So I am not very good at it but I can get by. My Urdu is better than my Hindi.

Kohrra is on my list, I heard Sobti is good in that. I don't like Sobti per se after watching him as ASR but I am willing to give him benefit of the doubt as he is older now and may have evolved as an actor. His enunciation is terrible, he mumbles and I can't understand him. I don't like that - when I watch a show or movie I need the actors to speak well so I can understand what they are saying.

What else can you recommend? I am pausing on DT for the moment, I don't like typical ITV BS where MU, hatred and all that crap and then they want us to believe it's true love.

Bold- 👏

How did you get around to learning Japanese? 😲 The others have the same Latin script- so comparatively easier, but the Japanese script stands as a massive, massive barrier.

Think it's a bit of the same case with South Indian languages too- the script differs (and significantly differs!), and if you really need to understand the language, you need to understand the script too. If all of them followed the same script as, say, Devnagari, I'd deffo be learning more Indian languages.

If you haven't seen it, Panchayat on Amazon Prime is worth a watch. A very slice-of-rural-India type of story (urban guy gets posted as a secretary in a rural village while preparing for his MBA entrance), but practically zero toxicity.

The same PH that made Panchayat (TVF) also has Yeh Meri Family. I'm talking of season 1- it has Revathi Pillai and Mona Singh (the Jassi/3 Idiots actress). Again slightly semi-urban setting, but very well written, and again, non-toxic. There's a new season (with newer characters), but I haven't seen yet.

Thank you 😊

I taught ESOL in Japan after I completed college and stayed there for a year. My host family was Japanese so spoken Japanese I learnt from them, and they taught me proper pronunciation. Written took a while, I can speak fluently but my reading and writing is intermediate. I wanted to go to Vietnam and Cambodia and backpack but my mumma was freaking out that I am planning to go to a country where safety is not the best so I picked Japan as my second option. How many languages can you speak?

Yes you are 100% correct the script is very complicated. It took me more than 6 months to master it and now I can but I am not that fast. I had one friend who was from Kerala but she barely spoke Malayam and what she did speak I couldn't understand it very well and after that I never tried.

I have heard of Panchayat, will put that in my list too. I like Mona Singh so will watch Yeh Meri Family as well. Is that on Amazon too? I watched Night Agent on Netflix and really loved it, binged watched it too. Another one as The Night Stalker on Netflix very good show based on true story. Have you watched that?

The disconnect folks have with Tara's character re loving Dhruv, I'd say is because

Dhruv has actively gone against his family for Tara a few times. Tara hasn't. He didn't even tell his mother he was time travelling when he went to cure her brother, and there was a genuine possibility in that case that he would never see her again. (if TT failed)

Dhruv hasn't rebuked Tara or said anything against her in public- ever. Tara has- think the scene with Samrat where she tells Dhruv not to interfere as this is a conversation between to-be husband and wife, or the one with Dhruv where she tells him to go away if he wants her to stay alive, the one when he takes the mashaal and talks back to her father, and a couple of others.

The memories of those scenes for the audience probably reduce the impact of the ones where Tara seems to show that she loves Dhruv.

She willingly took an arrow for him.

The tan-man se hum Chikitsak Dhruv ke hain, as you said

That angsty farewell in the peti when she was forcibly packing him off to Vallabhgarh (I'm not really a fan of angst, but I thought Riya did that scene well)

The part where she says I've already accepted you as my husband in front of Bhaiji.
