That’s the biggest problem. There is no growth, he is still forceful, and still gets defended for this attitude. Kitna normal hai na ye sab jaise, ladki mana kar rahi, but if a good looking guy forces her, to its okay, uski bhalai ke liye kar raha, lol, kuch bhi. Its worse that this is getting normalised and specially by women, and this type of writing is getting appreciated. Did he think she couldn’t take care of her child, so he did ahsaan on her and married her, mind you they didn’t live a married life though? Or did he do ahsaan on the kid by becoming a father because hey every kid needs a father!!

Haan haan, usne jaise help karte time hi soch liya tha isko main family banaunga🤣, matlab kuch bhi to defend Abhimanyu😆. He helped her start mein when he found her in a bus in not so good halat, helped her in police station and also helped her reach her friend’s house, then she was the one who ran away from her friend’s place, wo leke nhi aaya, never really crossed his limits for 6 years, respected the woman jo aapka Abhimanyu nahi kar paya. Abhimanyu did cross his boundaries today, if Akshara did not want to go with him, he could simple have had her go with someone else, maybe bade papa and Arohi, that’s more like gentleman than what he was today

Sorry but your reply is completely off the point of my post. I didn’t talk about any of the above. My point of the post was marrying Ak was Abhinav’s selfish decision not selfless act.

Yes his helping a lady in distress on bus was selfless help. His taking care of a pregnant lady was selfless help. But all those deeds do not make marrying Ak a selfless act too.

Also what Abhimanyu does or has done is not relevant to Abhinav’s decision that I mentioned.

The problem is in both the show for setting such bad examples as well audiences who accept it. Its not a one way thing, both sides need growth. From the start characters have been problematic, for instance when Akshara said no to Abhimanyu initially, no matter what her reasons were, it was still a no. Or the way he made her confess. Abhimanyu’s attitude was not at all something that should be applauded. He took it on his ego and was really acting crappy, but all that was forgiven once she accepted her love. Or during Akshara starting her career as a music therapist in a govt affliated hospital and Abhimanyu going and making a scene at her work place without letting her deal with the situation herself. But in real life that is the first red flag that should be counted. Abhira’s relationship overall has been a red flag with mistrust, miscommunications, lack of compatibility, lack of respect, different priorities and so much more, yet irony is that their relationship is celebrated as if its some type of epitome of love😆, to the point where forceful acts like today’s are all defended.
