I’m tripping on Ranveer’s personalized thank you’s to everyone on his insta story..he is so nice..no wonder everyone loves him in the industry..!! I think he is very happy with the response and positivity around the movie and appreciation for his performance specifically..after 3 back to back duds..with Deepu’s reel it was evident that he is finally more of his original self..fun, crazy guy who loves acting!! Good for him..we need you Ranveeru..you are not finished 😆
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani Does Well Over First Weekend

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani Is A HIT Overseas
Monday 31 July 2023 13.00 ISTBox Office India Trade Network
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani has done very well in its initial weekend overseas as it racks up around $4 million and this is with issues in terms of less shows in markets like US and UK due to Barbie and Openheimer being so strong. The UK saw major issues in terms of shows and this meant that Sunday actually went higher than Saturday.
The plus for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani is that Alia Bhatt is a bonafide star in overseas and probably ahead of the male stars of the newer generation and Karan Johar has a value in the tradiotional overseas markets. The other director who has that is Sanjay Leela Bhansali so a film like Gangubhai Kathiawadi sort of becomes a benchmark and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani should surpass the business of that film. Gulf being in better condition now than Gangubai Kathiawadi time is an added bonus
The film is going to easily surpass the numbers of Jugjugg Jeeyo and Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar in one week flat. The apprx collections in the major markets are as follows.
United Kingdom - £375,000
US / Canada - $1,800,000
Gulf - $1,050,000
Aus A$410,000
TOTAL - $4,000,000 apprx

Filmfare awards were many moons ago held in NSCI in Mumbai and Ranveer had a live performance on a tribute to Bappi Lahiri..I watched him live and he puts as much jaan on stage as he does in every performance on celluloid. He had me as a fan for life..some of his antics I don’t like..but as far as his passion for craft and approach to acting is concerned..he is absolutely without a doubt one of the best we have today. Films can fail..performances live forever..and nobody can complain that Rocky Randhawa was a bad performance by any stretch of imagination..if not one of Ranveer’s personal best already!Originally posted by: sev.puri
Came here to say the same. I remember him saying how grateful he is to be doing what he loves, and you can tell he has never taken that for granted. Seeing all his personalised messages just reminded me of that. He’s such a warm personality, really goes out of his way to build relationships and doesn’t burn any bridges, and genuinely wants to work hard and do well. Bless him, I hope this goodwill goes a long way.
It's great to read all the nice opinions posted on Twitter, but I really would prefer non-spoiler-impressions of members here...
I'm really happy about every positive impression 😊
