Dude it's their taal mel that makes it work for them so much. I very fondly remember that NM in one of his interviews for a web series he did, was asked as to how is working with Disha like...and what he said, stays in my heart rent free still!!!😘❤ From whatever I remember, the words may be thoda upar neeche,
He said that..."Disha has you know this lake like quality. Like that serene lake like quality to her. And when I say that she has this quality, I mean that. In a scene, since my character is like this, I just throw off energy anywhere and everywhere. But she has this quality, just like a serene lake, that she absorbs all that energy and grounds it. She grounds all my energy whatever I throw off in a scene in a chaotic way. Jaise ek lake me aap patthar feko, and it creates a ripple, amd then it becomes calm again. Similar is her nature. I throw off energy, and she absorbs it and becomes calm again.....and therefore nakuul calls her the calm to his chaos, both onscreen and offscreen. She just calms him down so much!!! And I love this about them..... ❤
NM has this habit everytime. I remember he did it once with Arohi too while shooting a scene, and Arohi became all confused for a second, ki ye to script me nahi tha...but later, she went on to act the further line. But that confusion was visible on her face for a second or so, so you know that nakuul had improvised there 😁
I also remember one scene, the one on the diwali when ram was drunk and him and priya were sitting in the garden, where he tells her that mujhe na, wo chutti pe jaana hao, arey waisi wo ad break waali chhuti nahi, waisi lambi chhuti, jaisi chhuti pe tum jaati ho na, waise. Now he was saying this to Priya, but was meaning for Disha, b9that time while shooting the scene Disha had just returned from Maldives...so he was teasing her that she used to go on such long vacations 🤣
